The rough voice smirked over his shoulder and Lang Qian Qiu spun on instinct, hand flying out to grasp the little calamity's forearm in a death grip and drag him forward. The ghost blinked at him, a flash of fear in his green eyes. "A-Qiu...??" He stammered, a little uncertain. "Wha...what's going on??"
Lang Qian Qiu saw the flash in those green eyes and forcibly swallowed down his own snarl, counting to ten in his head. "Did you do this?" He demanded.
Qi Rong's brow creased in something akin to hurt. "No?" He blinked up at the Martial God of the East, his small face still a little uncertain. "That's really still the first thing you think about me??" He bared his own fangs in a tiny, hurt snarl. "I thought we were past all this, Qian Qiu."
