Summary
There is a small voice which tells her, smugly, that there is a reason she is attracted to Maya Fey even in this objectively unflattering moment, and that it has much in common with why Franziska had let herself be cajoled into driving to a fast food restaurant at midnight in the middle of a rainstorm, instead of insisting they go back to her hotel.
It is a singularly irritating voice. Franziska hides her displeasure in another bite of her burger.
"So," Maya says. "Can I ask you a question?"

Late at night, in one of LA's rare rainstorms, Franziska picks up Maya Fey at a train station. Things develop from there - just not exactly how Franziska expects them to.
