Chapter Text
Watching Game one
“Oh this one will be interesting.” Vivi whispered as they hit play. “Well I hope they won’t hold this against Izuku either.”
“Eh Vivi, what is this one called?” Izuku asked from between his two crushes.
“Hm oh it’s called ‘Games Disguised as Lessons’ and this one is the first game. Also warning some of 1A are going to be dumbasses in this.” Vivi stated as they got back to getting it to play not letting anyone say anymore to them, all the while knowing that Bakugo couldn’t get a word out as he had annoyed them.
[ Hide and seek, paintball, capture the flag/flag football game guardian ( guarding an item) and Imposter ( Like among us) For the winners game, play Hunter. Advanced hide and seek against teachers. ]
“Eh why is it listing that?” Ojiro asked as he looked at the screen.
“I have no idea.” Sato answered him while looking at the other just as confused as he was.
[ “ Your situational awareness is frankly horrendous. Just last night, Kaminari was convinced I was a ghost coming to eat him when I came back from patrol, because he didn’t notice when I came in. As future heroes, being that dense in battle will get you killed.” Aizawa-sensei glares at said example, who turns bright red and looks away embarrassed. ]
A small “True.” came from where Aizawa was sitting with his husband. The ones from the class who heard him wanted to be offended but couldn’t find any fault in what he said, well Izuku could but he had a feeling that this one would show that he had a good base for situational awareness that Aizawa wanted the class to have.
“I feel offended and I’m not even in your class.” Shinsou said as he leaned into one of his boyfriends to cuddle him as he felt Izuku tense a little but decided not to mention it.
“Yet Shinsou. You will only have to wait for a bit more, I’m trying to get Mineta out of the class but someone in his family is fighting to let him be in the hero course.” Nezu said with a tight somewhat smile. It made Shinsou want to smile that his dream was coming close to happening but didn’t as Nezu’s smile made him wonder how hard he was fighting the family member on this.
[ “ With all of the villain attacks, your lessons have been messed up. Not to mention All Might can’t stick to a lesson plan if it killed him.” That last part was muttered under his breath, but Jiro still heard him. Perks of having advanced hearing she supposes. ]
“Ah yes my quirk that tells me everything I want to know and what I don’t like when my parents are doing… Stuff.” Jiro said with a sign not wanting to remember the amount of stuff she could have gone without knowing. A few of her classmates did laugh at that though.
[ “ And so, our next few lessons will be rather unorthodox in the hopes that you will learn to have better situational awareness, stealth and maybe even pick up a few more skills.” The entire class perks up. Lately all they’ve been working on is hand to hand fighting, so it would be nice to shake it up a bit. ]
“Oh~ so it’s lessons for the underground hopefuls?” Aoyama asked all the while staring at Vivi as if they would know the answers. {Why is he so hard to write??? I don’t do french so you get this version}
“Eh it might be? I don’t really want to give any spoilers right now.” Vivi said with a wink at the gliterly boy.
[ “ What will the lesson be Aizawa-sensei?” Mina asks curiously. When Aizawa flashes his famous Cheshire grin, the whole class feels their excitement wither. Nothing good comes from that smile. ]
Everyone except Aizawa said true or mood because whenever that smile is aimed at them they just want to run, and sometimes that is what happened well except it was Aizawa’s hell cause and not just away from him.
[ “ We’ll be playing advanced versions of your childhood games.” He announces, hiding a smile behind his scarf. The room immediately bursts into pandemonium. ]
“That sounds easier then it will end up being right? It’s not just me wondering what sort of trick there is to this right?” Sato said with a little panic in his voice.
“Oh I can promise you it will be harder than it sounds.” Yamada said to the students sitting near him. Which isn't really helping the panic that Sato’s statement had caused.
[ “ What do you mean childhood games? Like tag?” Kaminari cries outraged.
“ I don’t see how this will help our situational awareness or stealth sensei.”
“ I agree, ribbit.”
“ WILL YOU EXTRAS SHUT UP.”
“ What games will be playing , sir?” And so forth. The entire class is a mixture of confused, and excited. ]
“Why am I agreeing with Bakugou? Oh yeah you all give me a headache.” Aizawa said as he sipped his coffee.
[ “ Be quiet.” Aizawa-sensei eventually says. “ The games we play will be a continuous lesson until we have our champion. Some games will be able to be completed in a day, but others might take days if you do your job right. We will play five games and in the sixth game, our champions will go head to head to decide who not only has the best situational awareness, but stealth.”
“ What games sir?” Momo asks. “ And is this fair? We have several stealth based heroes in our class. They’ll have an unfair advantage to the others.” It’s not like Momo to whine, but she doesn’t see the point in this to be honest. ]
“T-That doesn’t sound like Yaoyorozu.” Koda whispered to Ojiro who was nodding.
“Wait, you guys still think life is fair?” the trio of boyfriends said at the same time all the while looking wild eyed at their classmates or future ones at least. Which shocked the class like two of them were two of the strongest between them and they didn’t believe in fairness? What was happening here?
[ “ Not fair? What about the Sports Festival? Your Stealth based heroes have no advantages when they compete, and it’s unfairly advantaged to those with powerful or explosive quirks. For once the fields are being flipped. Both kinds of heroes need to learn to walk that edge, and be not only willing but also able to use those skills. Even if you plan to go above ground, not all your missions will be above ground. Subterfuge, stealth, situational awareness. Those will all serve you no matter which branch of heroics you go into.” Aizawa lectures, watching his students slump in defeat, and his stealth based students straighten up a bit. This will be where they shine and Aizawa is sure that will be a nice change for the kids. ]
“Oh he is going to be in for a surprise then.” Izuku whispered to himself and ignored his boyfriends curious looks. ‘Oh This could be fun to throw wood onto a small fire.’ A slow smile came to his face. “So Aizawa, are you excited to see what we non stealth baseds students can do?” Izuku asked just as inesintly as possible Making the people around him questionly look at him.
“Eh maybe? More looking forward to seeing the stealth based students in their elements.” Aizawa answered after a little bit all the while wondering why his problem child had asked that.
[ “ Alright sensei, we trust you, so what are the games?” Aizawa is taken back once again by how thoroughly these kids trust him, but after a beat of silence he takes it in stride and continues.
“ The first game is an adaptation of capture the flag, and flag football. You will have three ‘flags that will be kept in sight on your person. The goal is to be the last person with flags. If you are running low, stealing other people’s flag’s will give you another life. While you only need to keep three on you, you could have sixteen flags in your room, and those would save you unless all three of your flags are taken before you are able to get the others and replace them.” Aizawa looks out at everyone. ]
“Well that sounds interesting alright, right~ future heros.” Midnight said as she looked around trying to catch any of their eyes.
“It sounds like a trap, that's what it does.” Todoroki said.
[ “ This will last until only one person has flags. And if your flags are taken and you are disqualified, and have extra flags in your room or wherever you choose to hide them, those will immediately be taken out of the game. You can’t give them out to your friends, am I clear? “ Everyone nods.
“ Sir, does that mean even when we are in the dorms, people could steal our flags?” Aizawa sighs.
“ Yes Iida. If they want, they can sneak into your room, or ambush you at breakfast, or in class. You will live in a battleground until one person remains.” The atmosphere shifts, and suddenly everyone is side-eyeing their desk mates. Aizawa nods. Good, they are taking this seriously.
“ Your flags will be outside your dorm tomorrow morning, and the games will commence as soon as they are outside your door.” ]
“Oh so the smart people wouldn’t sleep before getting their flags right?” Izuku said as if it was a giving and something everyone should do all the while everyone was looking at him like he was crazy.
[ “ For the other games, I won’t go into detail until it’s time to start them but I will tell you. For some the general gist lies in the name, and for others you might not know until I explain the rules. They are, Hide and Seek, Paintball, Guardian, and Imposter. Plan wisely.” With that Aizawa sweeps out leaving a room full of chattering teenagers.
And something he’ll wish he noticed by the end of the games, is the boy sitting behind Bakugou. The one with the most flashy quirk, who should have trouble with these stealth games. And yet, he speaks to no one, a gentle smile playing on his face.
Aizawa will wish at the end of these games that he had paid more attention to Midoriya Izuku in those beginning days. ]
“Oh boy that doesn’t sound good…” Kirishima said while looking at the slowly smirking Izuku.
“Oh Kami, is that why he has been cripic here?” Aizawa asked himself.
```````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
“Oh a new point of view?” Yamada asked.
[ Izuku peeks out his door at 3 in the morning, delighted to see the flags there. That means the games have begun. He quickly picks them up and shuts the door quietly. ]
“As I said, go early to get your flags!” Izuku said.
[ Izuku isn’t stupid, he knows exactly what everyone was thinking today at class. The main players would be Shouji, Jirou, and Hagakure. The ones who specialize in situational awareness, and stealth. A student you couldn’t even see, and the students who it was nearly impossible to sneak up on. And they would be right. ]
“Why do I feel as if that just doomed one of us?” Hagakure asked the room but she didn’t get any answers back as they had gotten the same feeling but didn’t know why.
[ He also knows that the last person they would expect to be good at this game would be sweet, clumsy Deku. Because while Deku was a good friend, and a great hero, his whole shtick depended on being flashy. But none of them knew him before high school. The only one, who would have any inkling of what Izuku could do, had always considered Izuku too far beneath him, to notice Izuku unless it was to hurt him. ]
“Oh fuck.” a statement that no one knew where it came from but pretty much everyone agreed with.
[ But life is cruel, and middle schoolers are even crueler. Izuku had learned at a very early age that if he wanted to survive, he needed to be quiet. Know where everyone was, learn how to fade into the background. He’d never had to use those skills here, because UA was different. Maybe because he has a quirk now, or maybe not. But it was different, and so he’d locked those skills up tight, learned how to smile again, let his mumbles out. ]
“Wait, what do you mean have a quirk now ?!” Aizawa and Yamada asked Izuku while the others were looking at him with concern.
“Ahhh before Izuku says anything it will be told in the story so no answers to that right now.” Vivi quickly said and made the story continue to stop anyone from talking.
[ And now he was being told that he needed those skills to be a hero. It was bittersweet. In some way it’s like all of his bullies had helped him on his way to becoming a hero. But Izuku would take those skills and dominate. He would show them what it really meant to survive in the wild.
The first step? Catch them off guard. As far as he can tell, everyone assumes the game starts in the morning, but the flags are out and so the games are on. As fun as it would be to take everyone’s flags right now, he should at least give them a chance. But that doesn’t mean he won’t take some . ]
“What do you mean bullies?” No answer and looking at Izuku’s face there wasn’t any coming either.
[ Izuku hooks the flags onto his pajamas and opens his door. He pads out silently, even his breath silent. Izuku reviews his notes mentally as he creeps down the hall. The only people he needs to worry about hearing him, when he’s already so quiet, are Shouji and Jirou. But Shouji doesn’t have advanced hearing unless he makes extra ears on his limbs. And if he’s operating under the assumption that it starts in the morning, he wouldn't have made one, if he even can when he’s sleeping. Which leaves Jirou, which shouldn’t be a problem. ]
“Oh. Oh god he is pinning the blame on Jiro isn’t he?” Aizawa asked his husband who looked like he had just come to the same realisation.
[ So in a wave of cunning that no one saw coming, Izuku visits almost every door and takes one flag. Well, one flag from everyone except Mineta, Hagakure, and Shouji. He took all of theirs. When he’s done, he creeps back into his room to wait for people to wake up. ]
“I do not want to be on your bad side if you can be this quiet dear.” Shinsou said into Izuku’s ear, making him slowly turn red.
[ In the morning people wake up to only two flags, and Mineta wakes up to none. Izuku carefully hooks two flags onto his belt, and slides two into his bag just in case. He makes his way in with others, being careful to blend in by staying as far as he can from others. People are exchanging wary looks, but are talking carefully, hands guarding their flags as they eat.
“ I thought we were supposed to get three?” Uraraka asks, confused when she comes down.
“ Did you not? I got three?” Jiro replies.
“ I only got two as well.” Waves of confusion spill over, Izuku carefully adding his voice into the mayhem.
“ Wait but I didn’t get any!” Mineta whines. Eventually Iida stands up and chops his hand down firmly. ]
“Oh god that played out perfectly. And he is pinning the blame on Jiro While making it seem like he is in the same boat as the others.” Yamada whisper yelled.
[ “ I’m sure this is just a mistake. We’ll talk to Aizawa-sensei about it during class and get our proper amount of flags. Until then how about we have a truce? It doesn’t seem fair that we could lose when we don’t even have our flags.” Another round of agreement, and the morning is off to a perfect start.
It all comes crashing down when they walk into class, and Iida stands up. ]
“I love how it didn’t even cross their minds that they could have just been taken.” Izuku was beginning to wonder about his class’ intelligence not even seeing the fact that he is a living genius.
[ “ Sir, you said we would all have three flags, but most of us woke up with only two, and Mineta had none. I believe there must have been a miscou-” Sensei holds a hand up.
“ We put three outside your door. The games started as soon as they were placed outside your door. If you didn’t have all three that means someone took them. It’s through no fault but your own.” Everyone falls silent, and then funnily enough they all turn to the only person who has three in the classroom.
“ W-wait guys, I swear I didn’t.” Jiro pleads. ]
“And the blame is pinned on me but I’m also pretty sure I’m going to say something in the future that will be bad so I apologise now Midoriya.” Jiro said as she stood up and bowed.
“Ah it’s okay Jiro please lift your head and sit down again.” Izuku said as his hands began flying around him, accidentally hitting Uraraka who was trying to get close to him again.
[ “ Then how do we all have two and you have three?” Mina accuses.
“ Yeah, and you hate me!” Mineta wails, with teary eyes. “ I didn’t even get to try you thief.”
“ Plus, if you have advanced hearing, you would have heard the flags being laid out.” Uraraka accuses.
“ No offense Jirou, that is so not manly.”
“ I’LL KILL YOU, YOU FUCKING EXTRA.”
“ Guys, it wasn’t me!”
“ Man, I thought we were friends.” Denki and Sero moan, looking at their flags in dismay.
“ Were you that scared of us Jiro?” Shouji asks, his limb turned into a frowning mouth.
“ I’m going to make sure you are taken out as soon as possible next game.” Hagakure declares. ]
“Oh wow No one even thought that it could have been a set up. Hmmm I wonder why that is?” Nezu said while nursing his tea, making everyone shilver.
[ Izuku barely keeps the smile off of his face. In one fell swoop, he gained over twenty flags, and turned his class against his biggest competition. She’ll be out of the game by the end of the day, and he can pick off anyone else easily. Still, to keep up appearances, he schools his face into a wobbly almost cry face and begins to talk.
“ J-Jirou, I know this is a stealth game, but you could have at least given people a chance. Aren’t we your friends?” Todoroki stands up. ]
“Oh wow you played that perfectly, darling.” Shinsou once again whispered into Izuku’s ear. It was safe to say you would probably fry an egg on Izuku’s face.
[ “ Midoriya is about to cry, and it’s your fault Jirou. You're not making it through the day unscathed.” The half hot half cold user hisses. Midoriya’s friends happen to be very protective of the greenette. ]
“And I still don’t know why they are but they are.” Izuku said while rolling his eyes, still a little red in the face.
[ Jirou takes one look at the pissed off faces of her classmates and gulps. She’s gonna die. And she didn’t even do this. She’s been framed.
First period is tense, Jirou whipping around at every sound. Tsu managed to steal another one of Iida’s flags with an apologetic ribbit. ]
“I suddenly got a bad feeling ribbit.” Asui said quietly to Iida who had gotten it as well.
[ Izuku decided he was gonna piss off Kacchan, and with one fell swoop reaches in front of him, and yanks both flags off of his old bullies belt. Kacchan had nearly destroyed his desk, but it was worth it to get the aggressive blonde out of the game. And that was just the first period. ]
“Ah so that was the reason you got the feeling Asui… I mean Tsu.” Iida said.
[ In second, a full out brawl occurs between Denki and Kirishima, only for both of them to be taken out by Sero who happily collects the extra flags. ]
The trio started laughing at that, all of them wondering how that would look.
[ When lunch hits, Jirou is cornered by everyone in class, even the ones who were out and her flags taken forcibly, with no semblance of stealth. Another step of the plan complete, everyone now thinking those 20ish flags are now out of commission. And to further cement his innocence, Izuku shyly approaches Shouto. ]
“You are the devil in disguise Izuku.” Shinsou whispered to the now blushing boy, having noticed how Izuku would react to it every time he did. The inhuman sound that came out of Izuku, he so knew that Shinsou was doing it on purpose now. It was funny right until Todoroki got worried and wanted to know what Shinsou was doing to their boy.
[ It’s obvious to most except Shouto and Izuku that the other likes them, but Izuku thinks he can use their friendship to keep him incognito for a little longer. So he offers one of Kacchan’s flags to the red and white haired teenager with a small smile. ]
“Oh yeah it’s a tododeku universe.” Vivi said from the front of the room making people stop watching just to look at them.
“Eh Vivi? What do you mean by that?” Izuku asked, wondering what they were getting that from.
“Hmm? Oh Tododeku is your and Todoroki's ship name. Like Todoshindeku, would be your ship's or relationship's name.” Vivi said without thinking, making the 3 blush and the others in the theatre look between the 3 boys wondering if they should get them some ice to cool down.
[ “ I know that we’re supposed to be enemies, but I just appreciate how you defended me against Jiro. So I wanted you to have my extra flag. I don’t want you to get out just because of her.” Izuku only feels a little guilty blaming his actions on the other girl. You do what you have to to survive. ]
“Hito’s statement from earlier makes more sense now right Izu?” Todoroki whispered to izuku, unintentionally making Izuku blush.
[Shoto doesn’t even think about it, taking the flag with a small smile.
“ Thank you and of course I defended you against her. You’re my…first friend. My best friend.” Shoto says quietly. Izuku smiles brightly. ]
“Oh he is so being played right?” Kaminari suddenly said from his place where he has been weirdly quiet for most of this universe so far. No answer came to the poor boy though.
[ “ Well, in that case. Aizawa didn’t say that we couldn’t have allies. I’d sleep easier knowing you have my back and I have yours. And the only time we can’t share flags is if one of us loses. So I could share my extras and so could you. Keep us in this however we can?” Izuku offers.
And again Shoto doesn’t even stop to think. He trusts Izuku wholeheartedly and so he immediately agrees. After all, there couldn’t be any downsides to having someone to watch his back. ]
“And that is how we end up with a Hosu situation.” Iida said without thinking, just to blush and try and collapse in on himself as the others turned to look at him.
“Iida you know we can’t talk about that!” Izuku said it quickly, making the others worried about what happened in Hosu.
[ The rest of the day passes by relatively normal, if stilted. Everyone refuses to talk to each other, though Izuku has seen a few alliances forming. Mainly Iida and Ochako and Koda and Tokoyami.
And for now Izuku doesn’t interfere anymore, letting the game go how it goes. Might as well make things easier for himself anyways. The only time he acts is when he feels someone collects too many flags and goes to steal a few leaving the other person doubting their counting abilities, and Izuku to add to his ever growing stash. ]
“Evil Izu.” was whispered from both sides of Izuku.
[ Over the next few days this is how it goes.
Iida is taken out by Tsu when he goes on a rant when he sees Kacchan with his feet on the coffee table and stops paying attention.
Sero is taken out by Koda. Koda has rats go and fetch Sero’s flags. Sero fainted in terror when he saw thirty rats coming for him.
Koda is taken out by Mina in a silly attempt at revenge for Sero. All she has to do is threaten to dunk a rat in acid, and he gives them up willingly.
Aoyama is taken out by himself, forgetting his flags in the laundry room and Shoto picking them up.
Izuku takes out Tsu, but only because she was wide open and it would have been suspicious not to.
Tokoyami takes out Mina, affronted by her threats toward the mice
Sato took our Tokoyami, luring him in with sweets and then striking when the time came.
By the time Friday rolls around, only Ochako, Izuku, Ojiro, Tokoyami, Todoroki, and Momo remain. Ochako only has one flag, one taken by Koda when he was still in. Ojiro has a full set and two extras. He’d been forgotten in the fuss. ]
A small “Oh mood” came from the one in the teater making the others worry that they are accidently making him feel left out.
“Hey Ojiro, are we making you feel left out?” Shoji asked what the whole class was begging to worry about.
“Er accidently yeah but it’s not you guys fault I have been told that I’m easy to forget.” Ojiro said as if it wasn’t making the teachers wonder what kind of life he was living.
[ Tokoyami also has a full set and extras. And Momo has two. Todoroki had given him one of Aoyama’s flags, so Shoto has three full and three extra which could be a problem. With so few people left, things grow even more tense Friday.
Ochako booby trapped her entire room if Ojiro’s resounding scream was to say as he was taken out in the middle of the night. That or she was just that scary, but Izuku would bet on the booby traps. At one point when Jiro walked too close to Shoto he encased her in ice, even though she was out.
Momo accidentally shot Tokoyami, he’d been on the opposite side of the room and when she’d turned around she’d freaked out and made a gun. It’d only been sleeping gas, but still bad. And just as Izuku planned, everyone except Shoto has forgotten to even think of him as a target. Which means Saturday is the day to strike. ]
“Sounds like Other Midoriya has a plan already.” Ojiro said while watching, fascinated.
[ He’d do most of them at night, but it’s no fun that way. So when Saturday morning dawns, Izuku pads downstairs and sneaks up behind Tokoyami. He’d been watching and on Saturdays Tokoyami always got up at dawn to drink tea and read poetry. Neither him or Dark Shadow noticed him, even when he slipped the flags off. ]
“Oh wow that was flawless monaimi! (Help I don’t do france)” Auyama said.
[ Which leaves Ochako, Momo, and Shoto if Izuku is correct. Izuku doesn’t think he’ll need the vents quite yet to get Momo, who has been keeping herself sequestered in her room. Instead he climbs up the building, crawling onto Momo’s balcony and waiting until she’s not looking to slip in.
It’s easy enough to take her flags, slipping out before she sees him. He’s only halfway down when he hears her scream in frustration.
“ HOW DID ANYONE GET IN!” ]
“You didn’t guard your window Yaoyorozu.” Yamada said all the while trying to hide a smile.
“I’m on the 5th floor. I didn't think it would be needed but apparently it is as we have a gremlin in our midst.” Momo said.
[ Shoto and Ochako are the only ones left. Shoto is visiting his Mother currently, so he won’t know that everyone is taken out until he’s informed later tonight. Which means Izuku can ambush him at the door. So he needs to worry about Ochako right now.
“ Chako, I found this headband on clearance at the store. I thought it was super cute, and I know we’re in the middle of a lesson right now, and you don’t trust me, so maybe I can just set it here, and you can see if you like it?” Izuku asks, making sure not to get too close as he holds the headband out. Ochako looks away from the card game.
“ Oh Deku! I trust you. I don’t think you could lie to a frog.” She teases skipping up. ]
“Bad choice Ochako Kero.” Tsu said while giggling at the reference.
[ She was wrong. After she gets close enough to grab it, her flag is in Izuku’s hand immediately. She gapes at him disbelievingly.
“ W-Deku??”
“ Sorry Chako. I did mean it about the headband though.” She takes it with a pout.
“ I was so close too. I can’t blame you though. Good luck against Shoto though!” ]
“Well I’m sure that Midoriya will be winning soon seeing as Todoroki is a simp for him.” Mina whispered to Aoyama who was nodding along with what she was saying.
[ Two hours later the games conclude.
A simple, “ Shoto, let's talk strategy to get the last two out.” And Shoto was close enough to grab his flags. Shoto took it with grace, especially once he learned that he was the last. ]
A “Simp” could be heard from multiple places around the teater making Izuku and Todoroki both turn red and the others laugh at their reactions.
[ Come Monday, Aizawa tells them to bring every flag they gathered with them to class. So Izuku does.
Aizwa fixes them all with a disappointed stare when everyone is seated.
“ Dump out your flags on your desk.”
Some people have none, like Jiro, Kacchan and Iida. Other’s only have one or two that they hadn’t managed to put on before they were taken out completely. Izuku is the only one with an abundance of flags, easily screeching into the thirties. Everyone stares in shock at the pile of flags on his desk. ]
Kaminari burst out laughing at the looks on the class faces which he points out to the rest of the theater making a lot of the others laugh as well.
[ “ Midoriya played the game well. In fact he is the only one who deserves an A. Everyone I even remotely thought would do well failed. Five minutes after we laid out the flags, Midoriya went down and took one from each of you. He could have taken them all and ended it there. Perhaps it was pity, perhaps not. But he did you a favor and stopped you from getting an F. Not one person heard him, and then he manipulated the story perfectly, pinning the blame on Jirou. He was able to sneak into several of your rooms, and steal your extra flags, take them off of your body without you even noticing, and make himself fade into the background. None of you thought of Midoriya as a threat and that is why he won. He played everyone like a fiddle. Learn from him. We’ll go more in depth on your failures at a later time and analyze what Midoriya did well then as well.”
Everyone nods, and Izuku can tell he’ll have some apologies to make to his friends. But he won. The downside is now they will be on high alert for him. He’s lost the element of surprise, but it’s fine. He’s always been playing against the odds after all.
“ The next game…hide and seek.” ]
“Well you might have lost the surprise factor but I’m also pretty sure that you would win without it at all.” Nezu said as he popped out of Aizawa's scarf.
“Hm you think so Nezu-sensei?” Izuku asked, making Aizawa choke on the sip of coffee that he was taking.
“Yeah I do Midoriya-kun.” Nezu answered as he patted Aizawa’s head.
“Wait wait when did that happen?!” Aizawa asked as soon as he had cleared his airways.
“Oh after the USJ Nezu-sensei said to keep it quiet as he didn’t want All Might to know about it.” Izuku said as if it was the most normal thing in the world.
