Chapter Text

Tommyinnit has been going to car rallies and car races since he was 7, Phil always thought Tommy went for the cool-looking cars like most boys but in reality, he went for the flag boys and flag girls, he loved how they looked and how comfortable they were with themself he wanted to be like them. When he was 13 he met his 3 best friends there, Tubbo, Purpled, and Ranboo, They all wanted to be racers so when Tommy confessed to them he wanted to be a flag boy they all got excited, he could be their flag boy instead of some rando, but Tommy didn't like that idea as he knew his brothers and bothers friends also raced and he didn't want them to know that he wanted/was a flag boy as he didn't think they would support him. The group started to race out of town so that Tommy could be their flag boy without his family knowing, Ranboo looked after Tommy's clothes to make sure his family didn't know, Ranboo's siblings helped Tommy get the stuff and Eret taught Tommy how to do the flags properly, after a while the group made a name for themselves know as the Aqua Annoyances as they all wore aqua outfits and they quickly started to annoy the older racers as they were extremely good at racing but were very loud about it, people shunned them when they first started racing as they were ”too young” ( they were 15) but the quickly realized that wouldn't stop them.

People of l’manburg started to wonder if Tommy, Tubbo, Ranboo, and Purpled were the Aqua Annoyances and started to try and guess who was who, as they all wore masks and covered their hair so they couldn't identify If they even were, hell Tommy had temporary hair dye so he could dye the tips to help hide his identity, soon the Aqua Annoyances got requests to race in l’manburg as they had a lot of fans on Twitter from l’manburg, they were nervous but agreed to do a race, so when this happened Phil asked Tommy if he wanted to come along and watch but Tommy had to decline and lie to say he was hanging out with his friends that night as it was their movie night, Phil tried to convince Tommy to bring them along as he knew that the meet at the races, but Tommy was admint that they didn't want to go so Phil dropped it.

(Tommys pov)
“Hey Guys I was wondering Should This big man revile himself tonight”
“It's your choice Tommy but if you are we all should it would be funny to do if we win not to mention it would be hilarious for tomorrow at school” purpled replied
“Truueee, imagine how many people would be surprised that you were the flag boy Tommy” Ranboo commented
“If we do revival ourselves we should go dressed how we would at boo’s house rather than how we normally dress” Tubbo piped up
“That would be hilarious, they would be surprised to see this big man in a dress, oh and boob boy can you let Eret know I'm staying the night and explain our plan”
“Sure Tommy”
“racers are starting to show up so, masks up boys”
“Ok purp, also who's here that you can see” Tommy replied
“Dream, gorge, Sapnap, punz, Wilbur, technoblade, looks like some of the hermitcaft crew for the town over are here as well might want to let them know our plan so they don't reveal us early, I can do that” tubbo mentions
“Ok then tubs see you soon,” Tommy's says while applying the hair dye

(back to no one pov cos that's easier)
People started to go up and put their team names up for different races, the hermits split into smaller groups the Boatem crew(GoodTimesWithScar, Grian ImpulseSV, MumboJumbo, and PearlescentMoon)
the Octagon(Docm77 and Rendog) and some of the empires crew(Scott, jimmy,fwip, and sausage) decided they wanted to join as well, From L’manburg the Chaos squad (Dream, gorge, sapnap, punz, Wilbur, and technoblade) and obviously the Aqua Annoyances were going to be competing, It was going to be a big event and tons of entertainment, all of the flag boys/girls meat up in a room off to the side so they could all talk while they waited inbetween races, normally Tommy would stay with his crew but he decided since there were a ton of people he would stay with the flaggers this event, besides then they can seem a little less surprised. In total there were 4 flaggers surprisingly this event they were all guys, the flag boys were Grain, Scott, Gorge, and Tommy, grain and Scott already knew who Tommy was but when Tommy entered and took his mask off Gorge was shocked and stammered out a confused sentence of “Tommy, I-i-i thought you were going to watch movies with ranboo,tubbo and purpled, What are you doing here, should i call your brothers??!”
Tommy started to laugh along with grain and Scott “ Nah big man, they boys know im here we always race, we are the Aqua Annoyances, we use the movie thing as a cover and don't tell anyone we are reveling it when we win tonight” he repones
“I'm surprised to see you in here toms you normally stick with your crew don't you,” grain asks
“Well Big G I decided it would be fun to annoy gogy as he can't tell anyone on the chaos squad till after the races and has to deal with the knowledge of me”
“Wait but I thought you came to the races cos you wanted to be like Techno and Wil?”
“Nah gogy I always came cos I wanted to be sorta like you, also I wear dresses and skirts whenever I'm not in L’manburg, I tend to stay over the Hermitcarft way more often than not, why do you think you never see me or the boys in town unless it's during school”
“That makes so much more sense, we all thought you guys just hide at one of your guy's houses”
“Nah the boys tened to hang out with us, someone is always got some clothes for toms to change into when he's over our way” Scott comments
“Racers Please bring your cars to the Start line” is heard over the intercom
“Well boys it's time for us to make our way out there”

Chapter Text

Everyone was so excited to see that the Aqua Annoyances did come to race, and for the first time in 4 years the bet box came out, so everyone put their bets in on who they thought would win, a large number said they think that the chaos squad would win, but right before the race started purpled had talked to scar and scar had agreed to tell the news on the intercom
“I have the pleasure of announcing that the Aqua Annoyances have agreed to reveal their identities tonight if they win a race, they do not want people purposely letting them win and with that everyone should be in place for the race to start so I need to be as well and may the best team win”
With that everyone's excitement grew, and the racers got more determined. The first race was going to be flagged by Tommy so he was excited he knew his brothers were going to be in the front near where he did the flags so he was nervous they might see through the disguise but he knew they wouldn't. the excitement, they would reveal themselves tonight hopefully, everyone was excited about the racers but more excited for the flagger, Tommy was nervous on what his brothers would think which is why he took the first race. Once the race started ranboo and purpled quickly went from the back to right behind will and techno, after the first lap you could see the determination in will’s face and the sweet coming off techno’s face but ranboo and purpled were calm hell the pitstop on the second lap and asked tubbo to go slower as they wanted to give the chaos squad a chance, they got 2 laps ahead then ranboo and purpled got back onto the track, in that time george started to laugh at tommy saying “your going to lose if thats how long it takes to do a pit stop”
Then Grian piped up asking” did they ask him to go slow or something, tubs can do a pit stop in 2 minutes flat for both” and with that george immediately stoped laughing and looked at tommy like is guy telling the truth, tommy simply replied” Probably, they probably did it to give my brothers team a chance”
The race continued fairly normal with a few minor hiccups until the final lap, the lights all of a sudden went out witch wasnt too much of a problem for the Aqua Annoyances and the Boatem crew as they normally raced at night so it was normal for them and they switched on there lights and continued where as the chaos squad all of a suden went into a panic as they had never raced in the dark, they swerved dangrusly and ended up behind the Boatem crew but quickly regain their senses. Ranboo was the first to finish with purpled soon after, then Impulse, then Mumbo, then techno,Dream,fwip, scar,jimmy,will,doc,sapnap, punz,ren,sausage, and last but not least Pearl. Everyone was so happy cos it meant the Aqua Annoyances had to reveal themselves, but they never said when they would reveal themselves,tommy went up to the announcement mic and started to tell the audience “ We the Aqua Annoyances will reveal ourselves at the end of the final race but there are 3 more races to happen before that so let us continue to race, have fun everyone”.

The next 3 races went fast and the Aqua Annoyances won 2 more races and came second to the Octagon in the last race, overall they did well, and the chaos squad were really interested to know who these people were now, after the races all finsed for the night tommy quickly went over to tubbo and the others and they discussed how they were going to reveal themselves and finally agreed on how…

Their plan was to do one more mini race for fun, Tommy's plan was he would take off his mask and then start the race, tubbo, purpled,and ranboo decided to take their masks off in their cars and when they finish they would exit their cars and show their faces to everyone, they asked Scott to go and explain on the intercom that they will do a mini race to reveal themselves, this was a race between the 3 racers, as much as tubbo normally does the pitstops he also likes to race so the 3 laps for their race would be fine on their cars without a pitstop. The excitement between the crowd and the racers was high, and everyone was excited to find out who these 4 were, the cars lined up and tommy walked onto the track and decided to say something before the race started
“To all of our fans, thank you for coming to each and every race you have, to our friends and family who know who we are, Thank you for helping us along the way, especially me it has been so much fun and we are all extremely grateful that you have helped us along this journey, and to friends and family who are only finding out now, We didnt tell you out of my fear personally but from now on im going to be me and we hope you dont treat us any different to the way you have been, And maybe dont try and stop us from hanging out because it wont end well. And with That let the race begin” as tommy finished talking and waved his flag a bunch of smoke covered him and he took off his mask and he heard gasps all around, He knew alot of the town knew who he was out of the races because of his brothers but even his brothers were shocked, and after seeing everyone's facial expressions he walked smugly back into the flaggers room and started laughing “omg everyone's faces were priceless, even techno had a surprised Pikachu looking face it was great”
“It was realy good, also well done on the impromptu speech, everyone was happy to hear you thanking them.”scott said

The race was going well tubbo,purpled, and ranboo were laughing while racing, and shit talking eahother as they raced, despite the fact that tubbo dosnt normally race he was the faster one of the 3,”common guys your ment to be the experienced racers, not me” purpled was just behind him “yeah well youve probably changed the engine or modified your car in some way we know you can”, ranboo agreed with purpled while being in last “yeah tubs youve modified cars in the past legally, so whats stoping you adding shit to your own car with the spair parts”, Tommy decided to pick up a head set to join in the convo “you know tubbo, if you have modified your car you owe us all ice-cream cos its technicaly cheating”, “finnneeeee, you can look after the race to see if i have added shit to my car”, once they finaly finished the race they found out that tubbo hadnt modifyed his car they were sad cos now they dont get ice-cream, and then they remembered they were going to expose them-selfes, and so they all took off the masks and slowly got out of their cars, the crowed went wild, the least popular boys in school were the Aqua Annoyances, will, techno ,punz and phil all ran up to question the boys, where as Eret, The Boatem crew, The Octagon and hell jimmy and scott from the empires crew came up to congratulate the boys on winning and revealing themselves.
“Tommy, What on earth is the meaning of this,You've been blatantly lying to me And Dressing up like, like This, we are going home and you are going to put on normal clothes and will be grounded till feather notice,” Phil said angrily
“No he wont, their is nothing wrong with the way he dresses or what he does, This is why he liyed he thought you would act like this so he didnt tell you, he will be sticking with us and we will move him to hermitcaft if your not careful, He dresses like this to feel comfortable and he deserves to be with people who will treat him with respect.” scott said while moving tommy,tubbo,purpled, and ranboo behind the wall of people that were congraalting them…

Chapter Text

“Hey toms are you ok, if you ever want a place to stay me and scott will be happy to take you in, and i know scar,grian, and mumbo want to take you in as well, so if you need a place to stay come to any one of us and we will look after you.”jimmy said while trying to block phils sight of tommy
“He. Is. My. Son. Give. Him. Back. To. Me.” phil started to yell, techno and will looked at each other and decided to join the protective barrier and quietly asked scar and mumbo to move so they could give tommy a hug, which they Cautiously let them in, techno crouched down and gave tommy a hug saying “go with your friends they are going to be safer than staying with dad, you should have heard him when i dyed my hair pink and started growing it out he was mad, and when he heard will was bi god there was a lecturer, its why we encourage you to go to ranboo’s and tubbo’s houses as often as possible, we dont want you to hear the lecturers as its not fun. Stay with your older friends they will help you, that much is clear, so you should stay with them enrole yourself at a different school and explain the situation, the recording of what phil was saying is going to circle the internet for a while so no doubt that cps will come knocking sooner or later with alot of questions.” will just sat their hugging tommy while nodding.
Punz decided to yell over the crowd “PURPLED STICK WITH TOMMY AND KEEP HIM AWAY FOR THE TOXIC BITCH THAT IS HIS FATHER” and the crowd laughed a bit with the mention that Phil was toxic, while phil looked like he was going to punch punz but before anything else happened sucserity came and took phil out of the arean as he was not being supportive.
Tommy turned to scott and jimmy “Could i stay with you 2 for a bit maybe swapping between you house and grain,scar and mumbo’s house? Its alright if i cant, and i wont need to be there tonight cos id be at ranboo’s house tonight, please i promise i’d behave and-and you can kick me out if im being obnoxious or not behaving-” grian just puts a hand on tommy’s shoulder “well me scar and mambo have no problem with you being at our place every week or so and jimmy already told you youre welcome at theirs so dont stress it.” Wilbur them pipes up “i can get any of the stuff you want from your room moved into one of their places for you if you like im going to helping techno moved stuff into his collage dorm so dad wouldnt be to suspicious if i was taking boxes out to the car”
Tommy looked at will” thank you so much, ill miss you,”then he turns to techno”ill miss you as well, you will come visit” he asks looking up while hugging them both “of course we will no matter what” they both say.

1 month later
“-And that is How i ended up here, any questions” tommy asked
“Yeah, what are your pronouns cos we assumed you went with he/him but do you”??? replyed
“Ummmm, idk i don't feel comfortable with them exactly but i got use to it over time i guess” Tommy responed
