"Let's go back. Leave the baby there," said Guard.
The white robot looked the baby for a while, he lifted the baby soundlessly while chanting in his mind please don't cry, don't make any sound.
When the baby cried after being brought, the robot felt relieved. Human said that if the baby could cry loud means it is healthy right. The guard might be not happy, but he would not leave the baby on street.
Raising child is hard, thought the robot. The baby cried all day. The robot searched in human website about the cause of crying and how to make it stop and none of it working. The robot took human form, it duplicate the guard because it was how they were programmed. The guard was the fighter and the robot was the support, but their relationship was more like friend in human term or so the robot thought until he brought back the baby. The guard totally ignored him unless there was communication about job. The robot thought if this is how single parent felt when raising their child then human really weird for wanting to have children.

Sh*t I am distracted, please rest baby, don't cry anymore, plead the robot desperately while lift the baby in the air. Suddenly he felt the world spinning, is there attack??!!! The last thing he saw was the guard hold the baby while his sight turned dark.
When the robot woke up, he felt disoriented and then he dashed to search for the guard. He stopped at the air at the sight of the baby sleep peacefully in the guard's arm. Lee-Ahn just asleep, don't jolt her too much, said the guard in their communication. It was the first time the guard used their communication after the baby came and the robot felt very excited.
Lee-Ahn?? You mean the baby? It was a girl? How could you make her stop crying? Wait Lee-Ahn? You named her? Why Lee-Ahn?? Why you make me sleep? How..
Stop your questioning, you are noisy, scan yourself, said the guard.
The robot paused, he scanned himself and yes his resting time had passed along time ago and his new found data was jumbled especially his searching about the baby. He looked the guard silently. Well, at least he willing to hold the baby while he fixed himself, and this is one of the reasons why he was the guard. His stamina, his power, his intelligence and his ability to make decisions while counting loss and benefit are superior then the robot. Although the robot could access everything within internet, and could make calculation but his job is supporting not fighting. And if sometimes in his mind he questioned why he was made, that was not really matter, the Guard always had something for him to do, even just basic surveillance of their prisoners’ hosts or just delve into current technology and trend. The robot flew slowly to the guard, when the guard just keep silent while holding the baby, lee-Ahn, the robot stopped near the guard and they stay like that until morning and Lee-Ahn didn't cry for the rest of the day.

I wish to see you how you grew up and we could see you make your own family, thought Thunder the last time when he felt Guard's life force diminishing rapidly, please stay alive and happy Lee-Ahn, and then Thunder could see and hear nothing.
