Minamoto-no-Raikou had her hands full.
Less with the bleaching of the Earth, and more with the residents if Chaldea not knowing how to conduct themselves properly.
The kids were always playing around and causing trouble, adorable as they were. The drunkards wreaked havoc every time they had a party, and the more... playful Servants messing with those too serious for their own good.
And most importantly, Shuten-Douji... Well, she didn't want to talk about her.
Anyways, Chaldea had no shortage of trouble. Though she didn't have a human body, Raikou felt her shoulders and her back ache. Emiya and Boudicca had told her to go sit down in one of the secluded areas, to which she reluctantly, but very gladly accepted.
Tea cup in hand, the slowly rising steam helped to relax her, and she let out a sigh of relief. No troublemakers, no havoc, no mess. Just simple quiet.
The scrape of dragging shoes on the floor interrupt the silence.
Raikou looks up, and catches a glimpse of her Master with a forlorn look on her weary face. It wasn't unusual for her to be tired, it being the status quo rather, but hardly did she ever show it. Though her supporters were large, Chaldea's Master felt like she couldn't let her guard down.
"Ah..." she says, opening her mouth in small surprise. "Hi, Raikou. I didn't know you were here, sorry. I'll go find somewhere else--"
"Come here, sweetheart."
Raikou knew her Master well, opening up her arms for a wide embrace. Patiently she waits, watching her Master look uncertain. It freezes in static for a few seconds, but her expression drops into vulnerable sadness as she walks over to her Servant.
She's warm, they each think of each other. The Master nestles into Raikou's loving arms, hands patting her back gently. Raikou can feel the soft wetness of tears on her chest, but she thinks nothing of it as she holds her loved one closer.
"Mama..." a soft whisper.
"...My sweet daughter," a soft reply.
This was a much needed break.
