Hawkins is in danger.It is up to the gang to safe the town.But, for now they need to come up with a plan while Vecna is hurt.That may have to include some others.They group was walking back to the cabin, thinking on what to do next."Ok"Hopper says."First, we will clean up the cabin, we can get some rest."Everyone nods."Okay, but we don't have much time, right now he is hurt but he won't be for long."Will says.That makes everyone gulp.
Back at the cabin Jonathan and Nancy were finishing boarding up the windows.Will, Mike, and Eleven were sweeping inside.Joyce and Hopper were cleaning the furniture.While sweeping, Eleven had memories of when she and Hopper had first fixed up the cabin.She was grateful that he took her in, even more grateful that he was alive.She couldn't have asked for a better father.And now she has a mother and two brothers.She remembers when it was only three years ago where she was stuck in a lab, only knew a few words, and hadn't met any of the gang yet.Even though things are falling apart right now, she was grateful for an amazing group.
Will notices that El was in deep thought.He walks over to her."Hey"She didn't see him coming, so when he said hey, she flinched a little."Sorry"He apologizes."Are you okay?"Will asks.She nods."Yeah, just thinking."El said as she kept her head down."You sure?"El liked how caring Will was.She nods again."Ok..."Will didn't fully believe her but he didn't want to pressure her, she already has enough pressure of what is happening right now.So, he decides to leave it.
Even though this wasn't any of his fault, Will still felt guilty.Like, he should've done something.He just wish things were like how it were in 1983.Where everything was normal and they hadn't even known about the upside down stuff.Though, he is grateful for one thing, he was grateful for El.He had always wanted a sister.Don't get him wrong, he loves Jonathan, but he always wanted to know what is was like to have a sister.Mike always complains about his sister being annoying but he thinks that El is the opposite.He is El's brother and El is his sister.
Mike had thought that everything was turning up for once, ever since Will had gone missing.But, something, as always, has to get in their way.The spring break was supposed to be perfect.He was going to spend time with El and Will.But then, he figures out that El is being bullied, she gets taken by Brenner, and Hawkins is in danger, again.Why can't things just be normal for once?Why can't things be like 1983 before Will went missing?
Joyce was wiping down the counters in the kitchen.She wanted the cabin to be extra clean if some of them were going to stay there.Joyce couldn't believe what's happening right now.She went to Russia to rescue Hopper and she comes back to a creature that opened gates in Hawkins.She started to think back to 3 years ago, before Will went missing and everything was normal.Sure, she had just got out of a abusive relationship and had to work extra shifts to provide food on the table, but it wasn't compared to anything like this.Joyce doesn't think that anything could be normal again.
Hopper was getting all the dust and cobwebs out the cabin.He had just come out of Russia and now he has to deal with this Vecna/One/Henry thing.He was just glad to be reunited with El.He remembers the day he found her in the woods.Probably one of the best things that had happened to him in his life after everything that had occurred.Even though they were not blood related, El was his daughter and Hopper was her father.No doubt.
Nancy could tell that something was up with Jonathan.Something he wasn't telling her.She just didn't know what.She notice when she had asked about the college letter, that he had looked a bit nervous.He also smelled different.Like drugs.She hopes he isn't doing drugs.Nancy had to admit, she was attracted to Steve.But, she think it was because she felt that Jonathan was pulling away.Because, when she finally saw Jonathan, she felt all the love she had for him rushing back.She knows that she will have to talk to Steve and Jonathan at one point, but that is the least of her problems right now.
Jonathan hates how he is lying to Nancy but he just can't tell her yet.Not with everything that was going on now.He is grateful to have Nancy as his girlfriend.Sometimes he thinks he doesn't deserve her.Especially now.He just doesn't think she will understand what he's going through.I mean, he grew up with an abusive father, a poor home with a mother that is trying to do her best to provide for her two sons.
When Lonnie left, he felt like that he should step up and help the family.Then, his brother goes missing, when they get him back, he becomes possessed, and even after they get the shadow monster out of him, he is still connected to the upside down.He just felt like he couldn't leave them, though he didn't want to give up his dreams, he felt guilty for what happened to Will.He knows he shouldn't have lied or done drugs, he just didn't know what to do.He was just scared that Will could go missing again, he couldn't live with himself if that have ever happened again.But now is not the time, they got bigger problems to worry about.They will talk after everything is over.
