    Spoilers for Farewell, My Turnabout, but only in this summary :)

    Instead of Edgeworth giving Phoenix the worst idea imaginable by poor communication and a few misleading words on a spare napkin, he actually writes a letter! And talks to him! And says goodbye properly!
    Wow, communication really is key :)

    This is set before Edgeworth leaves for Europe, after the DL6 case. There are a few days in between, and in this au Edgeworth tells Phoenix beforehand. He also gets back before the Engarde case so Maya is all fine and dandy ^0^
