Summary
When mortals sleep, Dream of the Endless is privy to all secrets of the human mind. He walks among the sleeping souls that fill his kingdom and he lives innermost fears, desires, hurts. But there is one human with whom he would make the choice, instead, to wonder.
Or, in order to keep his experiment interesting, Dream decides never to know Hob's dreams, in order to learn the man's experience of living only from himself.
This works extremely well, until abruptly, it doesn't.
