The Walking Dead Game- Season 2 Alternate Universe

Summary:

Lee lives in this one because fuck you Telltale. Literally the same story as season 2, there are just some...ahem, changes.

Notes:

Kenny and Lee are gay for each other, deal with it. Also, I finished season 1 and cried like a baby. I've only seen gameplay of season 2, I'm getting season 2 soon I hope. And please excuse me if this is trash, I write for fun.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter 1: All That Remains part 1

Chapter Text

It was quiet. And cold.

Clementine turned to the side of her. Christa silently watched the fire not burn. She then looked over at Lee on her right, he was also watching the fire. Clementine sighed. "Christa, talk to us..." Clementine said, breaking the silence. Christa walked over to the fire and poked at it. Clementine turned to look at Lee again and he shrugged. it had been many months since Omid died. Christa had been terribly sad about it. Same with Clementine and Lee, but what could they do? It all happened so fast. Christa complained about the fire not burning enough to keep them warm. It was very cold, but Christa said it'll be colder up in Wellington. They all just agreed to go up to Wellington, it's all they ever talked about. "Are you really sure it exists?" Lee asked.

Christa shrugged. Clementine had her doubts too, but she kept quiet about them.

"I'm going to get some firewood, just keep the fire going until I come back." Christa told them, the two nodded. She then left them alone. Clementine rummaged through her bag to find her lighter and something to burn. She found the picture of Lee she kept and the drawing she made when she was 9. Lee had found something small to put in the fire, but it wasn't enough. "Do you think Christa will be okay?" Clementine asked. "I hope so, she's smart no walker can get her. God forbid someone is in these parts." Lee answered. Clementine nodded, understandingly. She took something out of her back pocket and lit her lighter. She lit the piece of paper and put it in the fire. It kept the fire from burning out at least. She curled up next to Lee. "I'm happy you're here, Lee. You and Christa." Clementine smiled at him. Lee smiled back. "I'm glad you're both here, Sweet Pea." Lee wrapped an arm around her shoulders and they both watched the fire together.

Lee had been with her since day one, he kept her hopes up about her parents. Even if he knew they were gone. Lee was now like a father for her and she was grateful he never left her by herself.

"I miss Kenny and Ben.." Clementine said softly. "Me too, same with Doug." Lee frowned. Lee and Doug were together...well, until Lilly shot him as he tried to save Ben. Lee was upset at Lilly. And they left her on the side of the road.

"Our group got so small so fast." Clementine thought aloud. Mark, Larry, Doug, Lilly, Katjaa, Duck, Chuck, Ben, Kenny and now Omid. The numbers just got smaller and smaller each day or month.

After a while of silence, a man yelling broke them out of their thoughts.

"Where's the rest of your group?!" A man holding a gun yelled at Christa. "I-I'm by myself..." Christa lied. Clementine and Lee and looked at each other. Clementine picked up and rock. She handed it to Lee. "You can do it, Clem." Lee told her. She turned back at the bickering group and she threw the rock at the man with the gun. "RUN, CHRISTA!" She yelled before her and Lee started running. Christa tried to run away but she was too late. A gunshot echoed through the woods.

Her and Lee separated, not noticing it. The man who had the gun caught up with her. She had many close calls with him catching her. But he eventually caught up to her. She was grabbed by the leg after he knocked her down on the floor, but she was able to escape his grasp. She bolted away from him but she reached a dead end. The river. She turned back to see the man again and he grabbed her. She squirmed but to no avail. She then bit his thumb, hard, hard enough that blood trickled down his hand. He let her go and she made a run for it, crawling into a log so he wouldn't grab her, but he recovered quickly. He grabbed her leg again, pulling her out of the log, she kicked his hand so he could let go but he didn't. He dragged her across the floor. She spotted a tree right next to her and she grabbed onto it, holding on. She silently prayed for Lee to come save her. Like he always did. The man was getting impatient, he pulled on her leg roughly, enough to probably separate the joints on her knees from the bone.

With another tug he won and pinned her down. "You are on my last FUCKING nerve!" He yelled at her. They didn't notice the walkers making an advance towards them. She saw one getting closer and with enough strength she threw him off of her and he stumbled close to the reanimated corpse. It grabbed him and she made her escape. Another walker that somehow got stuck in the gaps of a thin tree grabbed her arm. She started pulling, trying to get her arm free. The walker's arm came off and she fell from the force of herself pulling away from the walker. Another one moved towards her but she quickly rolled away. It saw the man and it chose him for its next meal.

She tried running back into the woods but there were too many walkers. She ran back and tripped. She found another rock and threw it at the closest walker she could find. "CLEMENTINE!" Lee yelled, making his way towards here but it was too late. As she tried to escape from the walkers making their way to her, she fell into the river. Lee's eyes widened. "CLEMENTINE!!" He couldn't see where she went, the current was too fast. She was too far away from him.

Clementine tried to swim out of the river but she couldn't find the strength to do it.

Soon, everything went black.
