Tadano Hitohito, an average guy, Is on his way to his childhood friends house. He was invited to a sleepover for the weekend, Knowing Najimi there would probably be too many people there. But Tadano hasn't had a sleepover in forever so he decided to go anyway.
It was pretty late at night, Not many people were out. It was raining sligtly.
The park that used to be swarmed by kids during day time, was completely empty. It was pretty peaceful, Maybe I should take walks more often.
Tadano had one earbud in is left ear and listening to music, He doesn't really have any taste in particular, so he usually just searches up "Calm songs".
He closed his eyes and hummed to the song.
Najimi's house was far away. But Tadano really didn't mind having to walk for a bit right now.
He looked around him, Most people were still awake, others had their lights off so he assumed that they were sleeping.
He was getting a little tired, It wasn't cold outside nor hot. It was comfortable temperature and very dark outside.
Tadano closed his eyes and hummed to the song, slowly tilting his head.
Suddenly he could've sworn that he felt something on his shoulder, he quickly turned around. What he found was really unexpected.
It was Komi-san, she was staring there shaking and looking down into the ground, she had a bag with her.
"What are you doing outside at this time?" Tadano was worried that something might've happened her.
She took out her phone and started typing.
[Najimi invited me aswell.]
"Is that so? I was worried something might've happened to you."
[Thank you for your concern. However, I'm fine. I was told that you would also be there.]
"I see, Well then why don't we go together?" Tadano gave a confident smile, Which Komi could barely resist. So cute...
Oh yeah... The reason I came to begin with...
Flashback
Komi had just finished her homework, They just got it today aswell, She's really bored. It's already the end of the week and she doesn't know what to do.
Maybe she should just go to sleep and go to the mall tomorrow... But she's too shy to go alone.
She eventually sits down and tries to plan her weekend. That was until her phone started rining, She jumped.
Komi stared at the phone without moving a muscle, trying to calm down. she noticed it say "Najimi".
She picked it up,
"Hey! Hello Komi-san!"
"..."
"I forgot you don't speak much... ANYWAYS!"
"..."
"So, We're having a sleepover at my place. And I want you to join us."
"S-s.. sorry... I-I'm... B-busy..."
"Awwhh, that sucks, Well atleast Tadano-kun is coming."
Tadano-kun is coming?
"Are you sure?"
"Actually.. I-I c-.. c-changed m-my mind..."
"So you were lying! Anyway just come whenever you want."
Beep
Komi put the phone against her chest and looked down, So Tadano-kun is coming...
End of flashback
"I'm pretty tired, so I might just go to sleep immedietly."
Komi akwardly nodded.
They had a little distance between them and walked next to eachother, "We're almost there!" Tadano looked towards her, she's been staring at him for minutes without looking away.
"Is something wrong?"
She quickly shook her head, "I see."
"I wonder how many people Najimi invited." He looked towards her again, she nodded slowly.
I hope we are alone...
Both Tadano and Komi thought the same.
