Bluey’s Kaleidoscope (Reader-Insert)

Chapter 12: CH.11

Chapter Text

(Bluey and Bingo)

This Chapter of Bluey’s Kaleidoscope is called:

•[Re-Silly-Ant]•

“Definitely a no man’s land, Dude.” You watch the frozen figures on the front lawn of your school.

One of the dogs from the Cheer Squad Club, peeked from behind a tree and watched some students try to unfreeze others, only to get tagged by the Cheer Squad Captain. Ida is that Captain. “Right. Well, eventually we’re going to have to take out the perpetrator.”

Your friends and other students were all busy trying to unfreeze everyone, but with Ida’s quick reflexes and gymnastics skills she kept bringing down a lot of them.

Two students from a Year 10 and a Year 12, were keeping watch from behind. “Not gonna lie, the Cheer Squad Captain can get pretty intense.”

“She acts like my Mum when she’s chasing me to whoop my a—“

“—Shh!” You and the other dog shush them.

“Once we get everyone unfrozen, then her rain of terror shall end. You guys flank me from out of view while I head for a feint. Ready?” The Cheer Squad dog was ready to run.

You and the other two students were confused. “What?”

“We try to keep out of sight while he distracts the Captain, then go in to unfreeze everyone. We’ve got 7 minutes before the school bell rings.” Four students, who were in the AAC, had appeared from the back building.

“Okay, gotcha. Let’s do this.” You say.

It planned out well, except Ida had her eyes set on tagging you, which your clumsiness and the urge not to be touched saved you as the school bell rang.

“You act like a cat who doesn’t want to be grabbed by their owner.” Ida jokes. “Today’s game challenge was fun.”

“Ha…yeah.” You didn’t like that joke, but forced a small grin.

“Buuuuuubbyyyyy!!!”

You freeze up now at the nickname being called out by Bluey, Bingo, and…Muffin? Turning around, you notice the red vehicle with Bandit in the driver seat and the three girls in the back. They waved excitedly, yet you knew they did that with a mischievous intention. “I should get going now before they yell louder. See you later!” You shout out to your friends who are scattered somewhere.

“Bye, (Y/n)!” Zara and Antoine got on a school bus, while Ida and Theo were picked up by their parents.

The car door shut while your bag is tossed to the floor of the passenger seat. School work was less today, so you’ve managed to complete it and not bring any homework this time.

“That was One of the most intense game of Freeze Tag I've witnessed in my life. And you’ve managed not to get tagged.” Bandit lightly punches your arm. “Cheers to a Champion!” He howled out and drove off.

Bluey, Bingo, and Muffin laughed and howled out too.

“Nope. It’s just dumb luck.” You strap in your seatbelt.

“Luck isn’t dumb.” Muffin crossed her arms, “Luck makes you happy like when my dad says I’m lucky, I get happy and my tail wags.”

“Yeah.” You shrug, not wanting to argue with the little gray heeler once her mind is set on something. “Why is Muffin here?” You ask while pulling out three candy bracelets from your bag and hold them out to the girls, which they squeal out ‘thank you’s.

Bandit eases his way through traffic. “Your Uncle and Aunt took Socks to get her seasonal allergy shot and they didn’t want Muffin to lose her marbles in the waiting room.”

“Sometimes, Socks wears a cone when she scwatches too much.” Muffin licks her candy bracelet.

“Oh.” You nod in understanding. Seasonal allergies are the worst especially when there’s shedding.

“Where’s MY candy bracelet?” Bandit asked.

You snickered, “Sorry. Those are the only three left, unless you’ve got something to trade.” That was a lie because you also had Tim Tams, a few chocolates, and a meat pie. There’s a lot of goodies when trading lunch stuff with your friends.

“I think I’ve got something when we get back home.” Bandit turned into the neighborhood. “A surprise. Great for walking to the playground.”

Bluey gasped and feet kicked happily, “Can I ride my bike? Without training wheels? I know I can do it. (Y/n), do you think I can ride my bike without training wheels?”

The jeep now parks in the driveway as you get out to help Bluey from her car seat. “I believe you, Bluey-Belle. You’re a very resilient girl.” You slip her back-pack with your bag on your shoulder, then hold out your arms.

Bluey giggles and clings to you, her arms around your neck. “What does Re-Silly-Ant mean?”

You snicker at her mispronunciation of the word.

Muffin was confused, “Bluey isn’t an ant.”

Bingo hums in thought, “I don’t think that’s what, (Y/n), meant, Muffin. I think they meant to say Bluey is a serious ant because ants don’t give up when they want something.”

“Oh!” Muffin still seemed confused. “I’m still confused.”

You and Bandit glanced at each other, wondering how the conversation went to the topic of ants. Both of you shrug nonchalantly and head inside the house. Bandit goes into the kitchen and you spin around before carefully tossing Bluey onto the couch.

The little blue heeler shrieked and laughed afterwards.

“Me next!” Bingo reached her arms out to you.

“Me too!” Muffin smiled with her tail wagging.

The other two heelers were smaller than Bluey, so you’d have to be extra careful. Maybe a small game of Astronauts visiting the Moon will help not be rough on the throwing part.

——▼•ᴥ•▼——

Bandit realized the girls hadn’t bothered him while making a small after school snack for you all and took a peek into the living room. For a moment, Bandit began to reminisce about the days he and his brothers played roughly and still had fun. You had found a way to be gentle by pretending there was zero gravity, making Bingo slowly crash land on the couch and bump into Bluey. You held Muffin up and softly crashed her onto the other two heelers.

“And here comes an Asteroid!!!” You yell dramatically and begin tickling them. “Tons of debris raining down on the Astronauts!”

The girls laugh and try to use the couch pillows for cover.

Bandit pretends to make a radio call, “Kzzt! Big Blue to Space Cadets. Big Blue to Space Cadets. Return to ship to prepare for Mission: Playground. Snacks will be waiting aboard Father Ship, serving fruits, mini sandwiches, and fairy bread.” He held back a laugh when the girls froze up at the last word. “I repeat, there will be fairy bread.”

“FAIRY BREAD!!!”

You grin as Bluey, Bingo and Muffin run out to the patio where Bandit set up the snacks. “I would’ve settled with Space Rangers. Sounds more adventurous.”

“Lame.” Bandit pulled out a few juice boxes from the fridge. “Star Wars is more action packed and being called a Jedi while having the Force seems more cool. Let’s not forget to mention Lightsabers.”

You take a bite of a mini triangle sandwich, “You’ve got me at Lightsabers. Win on that, buuuut I’ve got a better one for ya.”

“What tops Star Wars?”

“To me, Star Wars is completely overrated. Anyway, the greatest adventure through Space AND Time would be Doctor Who.” You say with confidence.

The blue heeler’s eyes widened and grinned, “You’ve got me there, Kiddo. I’ve seen it, but I’m not too into it, unlike a certain red cattle. She will totally agree with you and she would also say She-Ra would be within the category.” He chuckled fondly at a memory. “It’s who she was dressed as when we first met as kids. She may say it didn’t happen, but I KNOW it did.”

The love-struck gaze actually made you smile at the thought that there were still many rare individuals who made true love real. “I believe you. Even if you had a mullet back then.” You remember the photo of him and his brothers as kids.

Bandit huffed, not too offended, since he did agree with you. “It was cool back then.”

You grab your favorite drink from the fridge, “I guess, but you’re still the coolest one from the 80’s.”

“Wait a minute. Were you making fun of me or was that a genuine compliment?” Bandit didn’t know what to think about your comments

“Both.”

It’s so fun messing with him.

“I’ll just take that as a genuine compliment. By the way, I still have to give you your surprise.” Bandit walked over to the dining table and held up a sleek shoe box. “Got anything to trade for it?”

You eye the box and hold up a decently wrapped treat, “I’ve got a meat pie in my bag.”

“How long has that been in your bag?” Bandit asked suspiciously.

You glance at the meat pie, “Zara kept it in her mini fridge that’s in her locker until I left school. Still good…..I don’t know how she has a mini fridge in her locker.” You question.

“Deal.” Bandit swapped the shoe box for the meat pie. “I’m going to warm this bad boy up.”

Inside the box, you’re greeted with a pair of black colored roller skates.

——▼•ᴥ-▼——

The long walk consisted of you pulling a wagon with Bingo and Muffin as passengers, while Bandit carried Bluey and her bike. You’re able to park the wagon and sit on a bench to pull out the skates from your bag. The older blue heeler plops down next to you, watching Bluey trying to steady herself on the bike with no training wheels. Bingo and Muffin went running off to play on their own.

“Feels gre-AT!” You stand up, only to slip back into the bench. “Ow.”

“Careful, Mate. You don’t have a helmet.”

“Like that’s going to stop me.” You slowly get up, legs wobbling and straining to keep balance. “So far so good.”

“Sure, you don’t want some help?”

“No!” You huff out.

Bandit snickers when you’re rolling across the cement pathways, but flinches every time you fall to the ground. “They’re so stubborn.” He wonders if that’s what his Mum used to think when he and his brothers did crazy things. He snaps out of it when there’s another crash in Bluey’s direction. “Oof.”

Bluey stomps over and shoves her bike and helmet away, “Humph! It’s not fair!” She plops down near the bench. “Why can’t I do it straightaway?”

Teen years for the small blue heeler are going to be fun.’ Bandit hoped it wouldn’t be too bad. “That’s not how the world works, kid.”

“Then the world is silly.”

“Can’t argue with that.” Bandit laughed with understanding.

The little heeler glared at the bike before noticing you weren’t around and finally spotted you a few yards away. Your body laying on the grass near the small concrete trail. “Dad? Is (Y/n) okay?”

Bandit hummed and grew concerned, “(Y/n)! You alright, Mate?” He just received a lazy thumbs up from you before your hand plopped back to the grass. “They’ll be okay, Bluey.” He gave a pat to her head.

“Are you sure you don’t need any help?”

You heard Bluey call out to you and it’s easy to tell that her voice is laced with worry, so you lift your head to look over at them. Yeah, you couldn’t just lie there in self-pity for too long, especially when Bluey’s ears were slightly down. It’s easy to walk on the grass with the skates and you keep away from the trail, making your way back to the bench. “Sorry, I was just taking a break and I didn’t want to yell from way over there.”

Honestly, if you would’ve yelled back, your words would’ve come out harsh from your frustration after bonking your head when you fell backwards. That and you didn’t want to have a profanity meltdown in a park full of kids.

“How’s the ‘no training wheels’ coming along?” You ask Bluey.

She draws out a low growl, “It’s silly.” She takes a seat on the bench and you’re sitting on the ground now, facing the park equipment.

You feel Bluey pick out the loose leaves and grass from your fur. “Silly, eh?….Why not make it a re-silly-ant?”

Bluey huffs and lays her head on top of yours, “How do I do that? I still don’t know what that means.” She exaggerates and falls against her dad’s side.

You snicker and held out your hand to Bandit as he helped you back onto your feet. “I’m sure you’ll understand what it means later, Bluey-Belle. For now, just take a break and do a bit of watching.” You ruffle the top of her head as she blows a raspberry at you. “Phew! That’s SO not nice, Little Missy.” You laugh when Bluey lets out a small bark.

“That was mean.” Bluey pouts.

Bandit chuckled, “They’re just teasing, Kiddo. That’s how siblings are sometimes and lucky for you, you’ve got one who will always protect you even when they are being a tad bit mean.”

You nod, then dig in the seat of the wagon which holds a compartment for important necessities, like a bottle of water. You’re rinsing a deep scratch on your knee after landing on a big stick, not realizing Bluey was watching you.

She remembered one time where she fell, getting a wooden splinter in her paw which made her cry from the pain. It hurt more when it was being cleaned after it was pulled out. You didn’t tear up or sob out from the pain, just taking a deep breath. It amazed the small blue heeler when you didn’t cry from the pain and realized you didn’t cry either when you fell. Her attention went to the other kids in the park.

Turns out, they were having a difficult time with their own problems. Even, unbeknownst to normal sights, a few ants were in the same situation. One had gotten injured and began calling for help from any of its buddies nearby.

Bentley, the small brown spaniel, tried reaching for the monkey bars, but she was too small even when jumping. Causing her to fall to the ground, almost ready to cry, but ended up shouting in frustration, “Why can’t I do it straightaway?!”

[An ant stood on a leaf and reached its arms out to another edge of a leaf, only to miss, falling onto a small branch below its original position. It tried again to reach for another leaf close by.]

Muffin tried to loop her arm through her bag strap after drinking water from her bottle, only to start spinning around with the strap keeping away from her. She grew dizzy, falling over and ended up throwing a big tantrum. “Unacceptable!!!!” She tossed her bag and stomped on it. “Why won’t you go on my back, you bag?!”

[A big crumb of food keeps rolling away from an ant as it tries to keep it on its back, causing the small insect to run in circles.]

Both her and her dad flinched at Muffin, but still found it amusing.

Bingo struggled with climbing on the drinking fountain since the button had a timer before it shut off, but every time she missed the water or she fell. “Ow!” She curled up and sniffed, “I can’t do it. I’ll never be able to drink water again.”

[On the drinking fountain, an ant crawled up the side and it kept slipping onto the ground. It just kept trying to climb up.]

In all honesty, Bluey wanted to go to help her sister, but she wanted to see what you were going to do and all you did was watch with concern.

Bandit was ready to stop Bluey from helping Bingo to show a lesson, only a little surprise to see Bluey stay put.

The small red heeler sniffled and glanced over in your guy’s direction. Her dad waved while Bluey copied his movement, until her gaze went to you, who smiled and gave her two thumbs up. Bingo’s tail wagged and wiped her face after seeing Bluey do the same. She huffed and stared at the button before holding it down with all her strength, letting the water run over onto the ground.

You burst out laughing when Bingo began licking the puddle of water that formed on the ground. Bandit and Bluey do the same and still praise her for a good job at getting the water.

“Nice, Bingo!”

She gives a thumbs up, still licking up the water.

[The ant stopped climbing and happily went to water that was now provided on the ground at its level.]

You watch with amusement at Bluey and Bandit cheering on the other kids who were struggling to accomplish what they wanted to do. With the half filled water bottle, you walk over to Bingo and smile. “Can you help me fill my bottle, Bingo?” You hold the opening toward the fountain nozzle.

“Yeah!” She held the button, filling up the water bottle.

“Thanks, Little Sis.” You ruffled her head, noticing the small brown bengal climbing up the side of the monkey bars and reaching for the circular bar.

With a bit of a stretch, she’s able to grasp onto the bar and hold on. Bentley smiled in happiness then hung there for a moment before gulping. “I would like to get down now.”

Fortunately, you walked over and let them on your shoulders. “You did it! How about you keep going? I’ve got ya.”

The small dog gasped cheerfully and reached for the other bar with you giving her an extra boost to swing. Making it seem like she’s doing all the work. Once she got to the last monkey bar, you placed her on the ground. “Thank you! That was fun!”

[With a final reach, the ant held onto the edge of a leaf as another ant crawled behind them. Soon they held onto them as other ants used them as a bridge to make it to the other side.]

You pat her head and hear Muffin laugh out, running toward you.

[The ant finally got a proper grasp on the big crumb as it balanced on its back before the insect crawled to another group of ants, following them in the direction to get water.]

“I got my bag on, (Y/n)! The strap wasn’t being nice and kept running away from me.” She stomped at that then smiled, “But now it’s on my back and I finished my water!” She takes off her bag again and shows the empty bottle. “See!”

You saw her small outburst earlier and snickered, “Yeah. How about you refill your bottle for later? Bingo will help you.”

“Okay!” She rushed over to her cousin. Bentley followed close behind with Muffin’s bag after it slipped off her shoulders.

From the corner of your eye, Bluey is heading back to her bike and sits there for a moment after slipping her helmet on. Hesitant. She tries to push forward slightly, but looks at you and waits expectantly for something to give it a go.

That’s when you give her a warm grin and two thumbs up. A silent; ‘You’ve got this.’ was all the little blue heeler needed as her expression grew determined. Sure, she still felt scared to fall after so many failures on keeping the bike moving, yet…Bluey knew no matter what happens, she wouldn’t let those failures keep her from not riding the bike.

You take a sip from your water, making your way back to sit next to Bandit. Both of you watch Bluey as she manages to go further in pedaling and catching herself with the bike staying upright.

“Nice work, Bluey!” Bandit called out proudly. “She’s getting it slowly.”

You nod and pull out your phone when it rings from an incoming call. Mother Chilli Beans. “Hi!” You greet happily.

“Hey, Sweetheart. What are you guys up to?” Chilli greeted back with the same happy tone.

“Just at the park. Bluey’s learning to ride her bike without the training wheels and I was also trying to skate.” You watch the said blue heeler keep riding further.

“Wack-A-Do! I can’t wait for her to tell me about it and I’m glad you’re taking in the skates. Have a couple of falls?” She sounded amused.

You shyly chuckle, “Yeah. Might have to patch up a few scraps when we get home.”

“I’m sure your sisters will help with that.” She chuckled, “By the way, is Big Blue nearby? I’ve been trying to call him for the past hour.”

You hold back a laugh and smirk at Bandit, “Oooh!~ Someone is in trouuuuble~!”

Bandit raised a brow at you, “What? Why are you looking at me like that?”

“The missus has been trying to call for an hour now.”

Bandit immediately took out his phone and grimaced, “Oh boy.”

Chilli snickered, “He barely checked it, didn’t he?”

“Yep.”

“Not surprised.”

Apparently, Trixie and Stripe were on their way to pick up Muffin and Chilli wanted to tell Bandit to order Chinese Takeaway for dinner since she’ll be coming back a little late. It was a hassle to get the girls to leave the park, Bluey and Bingo were somewhat understanding, except for Muffin. Who was having a tantrum by shaking the wagon as Bandit pulled it this time and he carried the bike.

You were giving Bingo a piggyback ride while Bluey held your hand.

[The ants group together and help the injured one, crawling back to their nest to fix and heal their injuries.]

——▼-ᴥ-▼——

Luckily, Trixie and Stripe were waiting in their vehicle when you guys got back into the cul-de-sac and strapped the now worn out Muffin in her car seat. Socks was asleep after fighting the doctors in getting her shots.

With a wave, you guys head inside while Bluey and Bingo follow you to get the first aid kit.

Bandit read over the text from Chilli, which showed what she wanted from the Chinese Restaurant and sent you a text of the menu, asking what you wanted. It took awhile for a reply, but the blue heeler called the order in and got up to look for the car keys. “Kids! Hurry up! We’ve gotta pick up dinner before picking up Mum from work!”

“Are you sure I’ll be able to ride my bike further?” Bluey asked you while you guys hopped down one step at a time.

“Yeah, you just gotta keep practicing. If we have time, we can practice out front since I still need to get used to skating more.” You bear Bandit snicker and see him grinning at you.

“Cool Bandages, Mate.”

You knew he was trying to tease you, so you just smirked back and gestured to the band-aids on your ear, nose, and knee. “Thanks. They are one of a kind and hand picked by very professional medical assistants.” You pat Bluey and Bingo on the head.

They giggled and rushed over to the front door.

“Clearly.” Bandit eyed the bright colored cat cartoons. Cat Squad, the girl’s favorite cartoon. “Are you ready to head out?”

You were a little hesitant, “Um…would it be okay if I stay here?”

The car keys were twirling on Bandit’s finger as he thought about it and nodded, “No problem, Kiddo. Hold up the Father Ship until we get back, Space Cadet.”

Both of you salute each other then laugh. “Don’t worry, Chief. I’ve got this. Go retrieve our Captain.”

“Right-oh Wait! I see what you did there.” Bandit nudged your arm, “Chilli is best suited to be Captain anyway. I’ll let your sisters know you’re staying to finish homework. We’ll be back.”

You wave to him and your sisters before locking the door. Maybe, being alone right now wasn’t the best idea, but you also didn’t want to be around the airport. The house was quiet…too quiet. You guessed, you’ve gotten used to the Heeler’s presence and it seems unusual for this home to be silent.

With a deep breath in and out, you calm yourself before causing yourself an anxiety attack. “They’ll be back. They’ll come home. They won’t leave you just because they’re stopping by the airport.” You reassured yourself and laughed nervously.

Instead of pacing around, you end up in your room and entertain yourself on your tablet. At one point, Theo and Alfie invited you to play an arcade game to see who has the highest score. You watch the two go at each other as your phone rings again. “Hey, Mom.”

Chilli lets out a squeal and composed herself, “Hey, Sweetie. Everything alright at home? Your Dad is just waiting on the spring rolls, apparently the restaurant forgot to make them. I told him to leave it because you kids must be starving, but nope..” She sighed, “Him and the Spring rolls.”

You nod and chuckle, “I mean, he gets grumpy he doesn’t get HIS food. I’m okay though. Are you just waiting for them to pick you up now?”

“I’ve still got one last flight to check, then I’ll be done. Hopefully, the Spring rolls will be done by then.”

You could tell she rolled her eyes at that.

Suddenly, another ring of a phone echoed somewhere in the house.

It startled you a bit and you peered out of your door, forgetting there’s a home/work phone in Bandit’s Study Room. “The phone in the Study Room is ringing.” You make your way to the specific room and stare at the black cordless home phone.

“Aaand your dad’s calling again. I wonder what trouble he’s in now…..Anyway, can you answer the home phone? It might be for your Dad and just let them know he’ll call them back when he returns.” Chilli instructed.

You hang up after a small bye and reach out to the home phone with the caller I.D. saying Private Number.

——▼0ᴥ0▼——

“I can do it. It’s just a phone call.” Brandy anxiously paced around in her living room. The landline phone staring back at her. Waiting. “It’s okay if she doesn’t answer, right?” Her paw held the phone to her ear and went to push the button for her sister’s number.

Her finger hesitated before she placed the phone down.

“It’s been so long….what if she doesn’t want to talk? No, Brandy. You’ve got this.” Sure, she could’ve used her cell phone, but she didn’t want to break it if she happened to get upset. “Dad said she misses you.”

The no dial tone buzzed in her ear again and soon the buttons beep with each push. Her hand shook with each number, not the one to her sister’s phone.

The Heeler’s Home Phone Number.

Brandy’s heartbeat picked up at each ring and she gulped nervously. Just let it ring a few times, then she could-

“Hello?”

The red cattle dog froze at the unfamiliar voice. “Uuuh-H-Hi!”

Did she dial the wrong number? No, it shouldn’t have been changed. Did one of the kids answer the phone? It didn’t sound like Bluey or Bingo. But how would she know? She hadn’t been in contact with her sister’s family for close to 3-4 years.

“Um…are you calling for Bandit He—“

Immediately, she blurted out a quick apology as her panic attack took over. “I’m sorry! I think I dialed the wrong number!” She hung up and sat down on the floor, head in her hands. “Wait…did they Bandit?”

Brandy looked back at the phone, then exhaled stressfully. It was the right number….”Who answered the phone?”

——▼-ᴥ-‘▼——

You raised a brow at the erupt apology from the lady and quick end of the phone call. “Oookay.” You felt bad when she panicked because she sounded like a really nice lady. Phone calls are nerve wracking when you can’t tell if the person on the other end is the one you need to talk to.

The chat room on your tablet started going off, realizing you left the game unannounced and seeing Theo and Zara’s text messages. No idea when your other friends joined, though it wasn’t unwelcoming especially since it was an argument between them all, except for Alfie and Antoine who were trying to calm everyone down.

“I’m either going to be a menace or a peace keeper. Let’s do this.” You slip right into the chat.

Unfortunately, the argument went from chatroom to facetime calls, since you guys didn’t type fast enough. When the Heeler’s announced their presence by happily shouting into the house, your friends all pout when they heard you’re having Takeaway Dinner.

You were about to hang up the facetime call until Theo spoke up.

“Wait! Turn us toward your house authorities! Mr. and Mrs. Heeler! We’ve got a question!” Theo raised his hand.

Ida facepalmed, “You do realize they can’t see your hand.”

Chilli and Bandit snickered while addressing them all, “What do you guys need?”

Antoine pushed up his glasses and smiled shyly, “We wanted to plan a study night-“

“-a Sleepover! At the Heeler Household!” Zara cut off the young Pyrenees.

Chilli hummed happily, “Of course! Just let us know when and what you all want to eat.”

“And maybe we can set up the backyard if you all want to camp out back.” Bandit gave a thumbs up.

You huffed in embarrassment when your friends gushed out about you having the world’s greatest mom and dad. “Alright. I’ve gotta have dinner, so bye guys.” You ended the call as your friends laughed.

“They’re funny.” Bluey commented and took a bite of a spring roll.

You use the chopsticks to take a bit of your food as Bingo stood up from her chair and held out a fortune cookie, tail wagging excitedly.

“(Y/n)! We saved you and Mum a fortune cookie so you can share!”

Oh!~” Chilli takes it and holds one side of the cookie to you, “Let’s crack it in 1….2…”

You hold the other end, “…3.”

The fortune cookie is cracked in half as the white slip of paper sticks out from Chilli’s side of the cookie. “Let’s see. Lucky Numbers: 1, 4, 6, 10, 721. Whoa! That’s a big jump from 10. Learn Chinese: RESILIENCE.” She hummed, “Fun.”

Bluey grinned, tail wagging, “That almost sounds like Re-Silly-Ant!”

You smile at her, “It’s the same thing, Bluey-Belle. Only it’s said differently.” You lean against Chilli’s side, “What about the fortune?”

Chilli turned over the paper and read the fortune out loud;

[—“You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.”]

[Lucky Numbers: 1, 4, 6, 10, 721]

Find what the numbers symbolize by answering the questions:

  • Bluey’s Kaleidoscope was created for who?

  • Who is your new main family?

  • How many friends did you make?

  • Name the extended family members of the Heelers, not including those who passed. {Hint: Bob will still be alive.}

  • Look up the last number’s meaning by Angel Number or Text Meaning. Whichever you prefer more.
