A taste of Heaven in Chaldea

Summary:

A bunch of snippets with a simple premise. A post Heaven's Feel Emiya Shirou summoned to Chaldea, and interacting with the Servants. Especially those he knows, or knows his universes version of.

Character tags will be added as they are featured.

Notes:

Emiya meets EMIYA once again. Two different paths lead to the same place, it seems.

I apologise if this seems weird style and skill wise. I found this work in progress in my drive and worked with it, but didn't see the need to edit the beggining to much.

Chapter 1: EMIYA and Emiya

Chapter Text

"I am Gorō Masamune, A Saber class Pseudo-Servant. You can just call me Emiya Shirou, though."

It was weird being a servant, because of how natural it felt. I had spent so long as a soul inhabiting a doll, not that Aozaki's work was bad, that it felt weird being… in my own body?

It made little sense put like that, but despite technically being a construct of entirely Prana, rather than the fleshy, magic, robot-doll, it was impossible to tell the difference between it and my old body.

That, or I had forgotten what it was like to be in my own body.

Idly, I wondered if Zouken had ever felt like that.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Ritsuka Fujimaru. You wouldn't happen to be related to Archer, would you?"

The red haired girl, my Master, based on the Command Seals, broke me out of my thoughts.

"Uh, maybe?" I have no idea who she's talking abou- and she's dragging me through the halls now.

"EMIYA! I found someone!"

"You didn't find anyone, you summoned me." Even though they were different, Fujimaru reminded me of Rin in a way. Enough so that my dry jokes I shared with her came without thought.

Wait, did she say EMIYA?

Looking at the man in red, who I hadn't paid attention to until now, it was indeed that Archer. The Archer who had saved my life, and gave me his arm.

The man at the end of my old path. The end point of what the name Emiya brought.

And he seemed at ease. Annoyed, certainly, but at ease.

"Of course you found a way to be summoned," his dry voice was clearly annoyed, but he wasn't mad. Not anymore.

"It's been a while, Archer. It's good to see you."

"So you DO know each other." Ritsuka seemed satisfied with herself.

"He's me from another world. Or an alternate future or something like that. Rin never got anything like that through my head. The Kaleidoscope is weird" I shrugged.

It didn't matter to me anyways. Archer could have been me, and I could have been Archer. But our paths had diverged, and we weren't the same anymore.

"That is so cool!"

Cool, huh? I don't really see it. I didn't enjoy much during the War. Mostly my time with Illya and Sakura. It was too serious to enjoy much of.

And Archer being a version of me… well that was tainted with the seriousness of the war, too.

Not that I likely would have enjoyed it anyways. I imagine Archer would probably try and kill me.

Yeah. I could see that.

"Whatever," Archer sighed, "The kitchen has plenty of space if you want to use it."

"Thanks, Archer." But now, I imagine the worst Archer will do to me is put me at the butt of some annoying jokes. He is Emiya Shirou, after all, and it's what I would do.
