Uta secretly has a crush on Luffy, but she would never admit it to anyone. She had felt that way ever since they were kids, and the feeling has never exactly gone away, even after all these years. Luffy.. Well, he is completely oblivious to her feelings, as expected.
To her surprise, one day Luffy asked her to come with him to a celebratory autumn carnival. They went to get ice cream together and played a few arcade games. As they were walking around, they ran into a fortune teller's booth. Luffy convinced her to go in and have her fortune read.
The fortune teller looked into her crystal ball and said, "I see great things in your future, my dear. You will have a long and happy life, full of love and adventure." Uta blushed and smiled at the fortuneteller. She knew that they were talking about her feelings for Luffy so she looked toward him, hoping to get a reaction.
Unfortunately, Luffy seemed more interested in the food as he turned around and dashed out, hoping to get one of those caramelized apples before they were gone. Uta turned back to the fortuneteller with a slightly disappointed look on her face, before following him.
"That was a pretty great fortune, don't you think?" Uta said to Luffy, who was now munching on his caramelized apple.
Luffy nodded, his mouth full of apples. "Yeah, it was cool. Want one?" he said, holding out the apple to her.
Uta took the apple and took a bite, her eyes meeting Luffy's. She blushed and looked away. She might be content with just being friends for now, but she was sure that one day their friendship would blossom into something more.
They went on a few more rides, one of which made both of them scream and laugh at the same time. The carnival games were also pretty fun, and Uta won a goldfish at one of them. They decided to name it Caramel, after the apple that Luffy had given her earlier.
As they were walking around the carnival, Uta couldn't help but steal more glances at Luffy. She was really falling for him, and she really hoped he felt the same way.
Later on, they won a stuffed animal at one of the carnival games and Uta gave it to Luffy as a present. It was a small red and white fox plushie, an adorable win. "I know it's not much, but I hope you like it," she said, blushing slightly.
Luffy's eyes lit up and he hugged the stuffed animal close. "It looks just like you!" he said, before giving her a big hug.
They went on a Ferris wheel and sat next to each other, enjoying the view of the darkening scene below. Luffy looked at her and grinned, his eyes twinkling in the setting sun. "This has been a great day, Uta. I'm really glad you came with me," Luffy said, his voice soft.
Uta's heart skipped a beat. "I had a great time too, Luffy," she said, smiling back at him. She leaned her head against Luffy's shoulder and closed her eyes, letting out a content sigh. He put his arm around her and she happily snuggled closer. They gazed into each other's eyes for a moment longer before the Ferris wheel came to a stop.
That night, she couldn't help but think about Luffy and the day they had shared. She remembered how much fun they had and how his smile made her feel. She was definitely in love with him!
Uta has never been in a relationship before. She's had crushes before, but she's never worked up the courage to ask anyone out. The next time she saw him, she was sure to let him know how she felt.

The next day, Uta nervously approaches Luffy and taps him on the shoulder. "Hey, Luffy," she says. "Do you want to go out again with me?"
"I'd love to go out with you, Uta!", Luffy replies.
Uta is over the moon. They will have the best time together once more! "Great! I'll see you at 7:00 tonight!", Uta says, before running off. She has to go prepare for their date!
Uta spends the next few hours getting ready. She chooses a beautiful red dress to wear and styles her hair into a sleek updo. She even puts on a little bit of makeup, just to look her best. She's also made sure to bring along a few snacks and drinks, just in case Luffy gets hungry.
When Uta arrives at the Thousand Sunny, she sees that Luffy is already ready and waiting for her. He looks so handsome with that black suit and matching red tie. His hair is styled back away from his face, and his eyes are shining brighter than ever!
"Hi, Uta!". Luffy jumps down with a grin and offers his hand.
"Hi, Luffy!", Uta says, blushing and taking it. She can't believe she's finally going on a date with him. She's dreamed of this moment for so long!
"Where are we going this time?" Luffy asks.
Uta is taken aback for a moment before she realizes that she never told Luffy where they were going. "Oh, right," she says. "I was thinking we could go to the aquarium. I know you love animals, and I think it would be a lot of fun."
Luffy's eyes light up at the mention of the aquarium. "That sounds great!" he says. "Let's go!"
Uta and Luffy spend the day walking around the aquarium, looking at all of the different animals. They make sure to visit all of Luffy's favorites, and Uta is surprised at how much she enjoys it too. They have a blast together, and Uta is glad that she took the opportunity to ask Luffy out.
Uta then leads Luffy to a buffet restaurant since she knows how much he loves to eat. This place may not be the most romantic, but there were a variety of choices including a large salad, a hearty stew, meat on bone, and even a chocolate cake for dessert.
After they finished their dinner, the two go for a walk on the beach. It's a beautiful night, and the stars are shining bright. They walk along the seaside, hand-in-hand. The waves crash against the shore, and the sound is soothing.
"This is so beautiful, Uta.", says Luffy, filled with awe. "I'm really glad you asked me out."
They sit down on the sand and stare out at the water, lost in their own thoughts. It's been a perfect night, but there was one thing missing. Uta musters up all of her courage to take the next step.
"Luffy," she starts, before taking a deep breath. "I love you. I've loved you since the day we met."
"I-I think you're pretty cool yourself, Uta" Luffy stammers, blushing bright red. "Your eyes are just like Robin's favorite color.. It's very nice."
Uta chuckles at the comparison. "Have you ever been in love?", she asks.
"I don't think so...." Luffy replies. "But I think I'm starting to feel something for once."
Uta's heart skips a beat.
"It's been so long since we've seen each other Uta" Luffy begins to cry, "I.. was so lonely… I thought I had lost you forever..."
Uta reaches out and wipes the tears rolling off of his cheeks. "I'm here now, Luffy. I'm not going anywhere without you. Not ever again."
Luffy's eyes are now glistening, two large dark eyes lit up by the reflection of the moonlight.
They stare into each other's eyes for a moment, before instinctively leaning in for a kiss. Lips meeting in perfect harmony, they share a passionate kiss. It's everything Uta has ever dreamed of, and more. They allow themselves to cherish the moment before pulling away, both blushing brightly.
"Wow...", Uta whispers, still in shock.
"Yeah...", replies Luffy, in disbelief.
They stare at each other for a few moments longer, before Uta finally speaks up.
"So, does this mean you're my boyfriend now?", she asks, hopeful.
"I think so", Luffy replies with a grin. "I definitely want to go out with you again, Uta."
Uta's heart overflows with happiness and she throws her arms around him in a tight hug. "I love you, Luffy.", she whispers.
"I love you too, Uta.", he whispers back, before kissing her once more.
