“Hello?” his voice rings out, bouncing along each jagged edge, echoing as if he were in a tin can. The world feels wrong, the air around him is wrong, like trying to breathe honey laced with poison. “Is this real?” Suspicion taints his tone, the echo only getting worse at his question. Wherever he is, reality or not, isn't happy with his natural curiosity.
The figure turns. Recognition strikes through Aang's heart, fear bubbling through his pores. Yangchen. Her face cracked and decayed, eyes glowing bright white. “Fix us,” she announces, voice split between hers and his own.

Aang needs to fix what has been broken.
