What if Azula had been shown another way? If someone had helped her, could she find her own redemption?
Underlying theme: The dereliction of duty and the consequences thereof, and that if you hold to your convictions and are resolved in your duty you will find salvation.
This takes place in the universe in which Aang did not use Sokka's jerky as fire stater in episode three, and the butterfly effect is strong indeed.

Summary
The Fire Nation won the war and now they all but own the world. A world seemingly at peace, if you don’t look too closely that is. Those that conform have nothing to worry about, rebellion on the other hand would mean certain death.
When a 16 year old Aang finally gets his chance to set out on his journey, a rite of passage for most youngsters, he soon discovers the Pokémon world may appear all sunshine and rainbows but scratch below the surface and you’ll find a dark and cruel world of corruption and oppression. One that Zuko knows all too well-the Prince of the Fire Nation is dead, killed in a tragic accident at age twelve-he’s had to learn the hard way after all in the intervening eight years since his father murdered him. Nobody to trust or rely on, but there’s a freedom in the world believing you’re dead, nobody say what to do or where to go, just an open road and rainbows to follow. After his Agni Kai, Zuko flees the Fire Nation without Iroh or his crew. He finds himself stranded, alone, and injured in the Earth Kingdom when taken in and raised as a healer and farmer by an Earth Kingdom couple. He finds new ways to use his bending and to influence in the changing of the war with new understanding of himself, his bending, and the war. As someone with new perspectives and influence he is able to provide a greater understanding of being a teacher, warrior, and friend when meeting the gaang.

Summary
Before the time of the Avatar the spirits danced. As the humans grew, they learned from the dances and eventually made it their own. They gained the gifts of elements from the spirits who fell in love with their dance. In order to keep balance between those with different gifts, the Avatar was not the only spirit that moved through humans. The spirits of the major elements also bonded themselves to a human vessel, much like the Avatar spirit. That souldbonded human was to serve as the link between the great spirit and the human world. They were also meant to be the teachers of the Avatar to assist in keeping balance in a world full of wonder and power.
That was true, until everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked.

Summary
While recovering from his injury on his ship, Zuko overhears Iroh telling Jee about Zuko's banishment and telling him that Ozai had no intention taking him back. Not long after, Zuko abandons his ship in the night, disappearing into the Earth Kingdom. After making his way through the Earth Kingdom for a few weeks, meeting people and acclimating to his new life while trying to make his way to a Fire Nation outpost, he meets the Freedom Fighters before he can sign his life over to the Fire Nation military again under false pretenses.

Sokka was never sent to guard Yue, he was too busy scouting ahead with some of the Northern Tribe warriors before the Siege. He was catch and capture being taking too Zhao's ship. He barely managed to escape with his life due Aang and a giant sea monster. Now he's stranded in the middle of the ocean with no one except Prince Zuko and his uncle for company.
Sokka should have died, if not from drowning then the burns he received from his time on Zhao's ship. But he survived. Why? Maybe the white streak appearing in his hair may have give him an answer.
Inspired by 'Will We Last the Night' by CSHfic, VSfic but with Moon Spirit Sokka AU
ie: Sokka never makes it out of the North Pole with Aang and Katara. He travels through the Earth Kingdom with Zuko and his Uncle instead. -

They can't hear the crazed screams of her sister as she shouts at shadows that aren't there.
But can they see the two spirits stalking the princess's every step?They find other stuff odd. Stuff the surrounding adults don't find odd, only horrible

Aang and Toph have been traveling together for a few years, going on missions together, causing trouble and goofing around, and only continuing to growing closer. Things have come to an end, while the have simultaneously brought forth new beginnings. However, in the midst of the world peace and Celebration, a threat has been made against the Avatar. Not a just normal threat, something coming from the Spirit world. But what happens when Aang has to leave the End of the War Celebration early, to set off alone and travel back to the Northern Air Temple in order to confront this strange Spirit? What happens when a mistake has been made by leaving to go to the Temple, because in reality the one who is in trouble is Toph?

What if Katara actually told her friends about Aang kissing her?
Flames curled around the firepit, illuminating everyone's faces, dancing lines across their skin. Silence was in the air, the crackling from the burning embers almost echoed against the house behind them.
Katara was conflicted, glaring into the flames. Not only did the play highlight her in the worst way possible, target all of her insecurities at once, but it also caused the most uncomfortably awkward moment between her and Aang. Said boy now sat across from her, his grey eyes burning into her skin. She pretended not to notice, her gaze permanently glued to the flames.
