Summary
Bruce's parents constantly told him that Vance would influence him badly, that one day, when Vance’s bad temper got too much for even himself to control, that Bruce would fall victim to it. But he knew that wasn’t true. He wasn’t scared of Vance, his best friend. There was nothing Vance could do to make Bruce fear him.
After Vance’s fist fights, Bruce was there to patch him up. Disinfect his wounds and hold his hair back while his nose bled, so as not to get blood in it. He had no idea how much Vance appreciated this, knowing that during his fall, somebody would be there to catch him. Knowing that Bruce would never give up on him.
