    Summary

As someone as ancient and powerful as the embodiment of Famine, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, Kaeya should never look like anything aside from the destructive force that he represents. Cold and cruel, methodological in his subjugation; unmerciful to the plights of the poor, the hungry, and the sick.

But here he is, with an expression that looks so loving and endearing despite his paranormality: a crinkle in a corner of his single eye that appears along with the dimples on his cheeks; a soft, reassuring smile that reveals the barest sliver of his fangs. A faint thrum beats against Diluc’s palms, resonating from underneath Kaeya’s skin - Kaeya’s power - surfacing from his body just as the hidden markings on his skin come into view, emitting a soft blue glow along with his single eye.

And despite the inherent coldness that he bears, something that just comes naturally with his nature as an embodiment of winter and barrenness, Kaeya feels warm. Human.

Or, in which Diluc is a human, Kaeya is one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, and they try to have a normal date. Somehow.
