“Take a seat, Nancy.”The lights flicker.When they are on again, Nancy is in the chair.She breathes heavily.
Think of memories.Think of memories.
She opens her eyes again and Vecna is right there.
“I want you to tell Eleven.Tell her everything you see.”Vecna raises his claw.Images of Hawkins falling appears.Her family dead.Four gates spreading.”NO!”Nancy screams.”NO!She screams again.”NO!”

An image of Jonathan comes up.She remembers.
”Come on Nancy!”Jonathan yells as they run up a hill.”I’m coming!”She yells back.Nancy was out of breath from running.Jonathan said that he had a perfect place for their date.When she finally catches up to him, she punches him in the shoulder.
”Jesus…You run so fast.”Nancy says, throat already hurting from laughing.
”But it’s beautiful, right?”He asks.Nancy chuckles.”Yeah, it is.”They came at the right time.The sun was setting, making a beautiful sunset.
Another memory pops up.It was after the battle in the hospital.
The group was at the cabin.The had stopped earlier by the Wheeler, Byers and others to get clothes.El had offered Nancy and Jonathan her room to change.
The both sat on her bed in silence after they finished changing.Jonathan broke it first.”Are you sure you’re okay?”It felt like the one hundredth time he had asked that.
”Yes, Jonathan.I should be the one asking you that.”She replies back.”I’m fine, really.”Jonathan says, noticing the look she gave him.
”Jonathan!You got hit in the back with a chair!”
She wasn’t angry, she was scared.Scared to loose Jonathan.Scared to loose Mike.Scared to loose herself.
”I know…I know.”Nancy had started tearing up at that point.Jonathan moves closer to her and hugs her.”I was scared Jonathan, okay?I was scared to loose you.I didn’t even want to leave you.”She chokes out.
”I don’t know what I would’ve done if I had lost you.”He rubs her back.
”I don’t know what I would’ve done if I had lost you too, Nancy.”He replies back.”If El hadn’t come in time.I don’t know what I could’ve done either.”He adds.
”I’m sorry”She says, already knowing what he was about to say.”It wasn’t your fault-“He starts but Nancy interrupts him.
”No.I meant what I said after we got fired.” “We already talked about this-“She interrupts him again.
”But, I didn’t understand what you was going through!You wasn’t born in a family like mine.You didn’t have a father figure like mine.And I’m sorry.Because I was so focus about myself, that I didn’t pay attention about what you need too.”Nancy wanted to cry.But there wasn’t any tears anymore.She was all drained out.
”Well, I wasn’t the best either.I knew about what those guys said about you.How they treated you.How they make comments about your body, being sexist when you would suggest stories.And yet, I just acted like nothing was wrong.I’m sorry too.”
They broke apart to kiss each other.”So, are we good now?”Jonathan asks, sarcastically.”Yes”She chuckles.”We are.”Jonathan gets up from the bed and reaches out his hand.She takes it.”Good, cause now we got a monsters to deal with.Oh, and the Mind Flayer.”He jokes.They open the door.
”Oh good.We thought you guys were making out in there.”Mike says as the others nod and chuckle.They roll their eyes and smile.
Nancy opens her eyes to Steve in front of her, in the upside down.She falls back, breathing heavily.”Woah, woah.I got you.”Steve says as he catches her.”Jonathan?”She asks.Steve expression changes.”Actually…, it’s Steve.”He replies.
