"Break up with Hyunjin" Seungmin couldn't believe the words came out of his colleague's mouth.
"wh-what..?" he didn't mean to stutter but he couldn't help it. The boy was too surprised to hear what his band mate suggested.
"yeah break up with Hyunjin right now. And don't let him know it's for a bet. That's the bet this time." Lee minho repeated like it was such a simple thing knowing that he for sure is going to win this time.
The 2min duo of Stray Kids has been at each others neck recently thanks to their new found hobby of betting each other to see who will win.The last bet was made by Seungmin, to ignore Minho's boyfriend Jisung for a whole day. Which was easily won by Minho because Jisung was always at his studio busy with his music producing stuff.
Now it was Minho's chance to make the bet. Little did Seungmin knew that Minho would bet him with something extreme and related to his boyfriend Hyunjin after the last bet he made, but he never expected it to be something like this.
As a result here he was sitting on the edge of the couch in their dorm living room, looking too stunned, trying to figure out a way to get through this obstacle.
He didn't want to lose to Minho. On the other hand he didn't want to break the most precious heart in the world.
'How would Hyunjin feel if i do this? How would he react? Will i be able to make it up to him later? Or will i lose him forever?' Different thoughts were ghosting in his mind, when Minho who was sitting on the other end of the couch interrupted.
"Yah Kim Seungmin, give up already. I know you won't dare to break Hyune's heart." Minho had a cocky grin plastered on his face. Seungmin remained silence. "Should I take that as a win? You always lose to me Seungmin-ah" Seungmin could feel the excitement of almost winning the bet in Minho's voice.
Almost winning the bet. Almost.
"No! the challenge accepted. I will do it" The cocky ness if Minho's voice made him want to win the bet somehow. "Let's go to their dorm" Taking a deep breath Seungmin stood up from the couch and lead the way towards the front door ,leaving a stunned Lee Minho on the couch.

"Hey baby.. " Seungmin was greeted with a warm smile and a honey like voice.
There, in the middle of the room next to his easel stood Hyunjin, with a pallet and a brush in his hands. He had a calm charming look, even though the shoulder length dark hair was tide in to a ponytail, there were some hair strands dangling infront of his face adding a mesmerising look to his beauty.
Seungmin was taken aback when he met Hyunjin's shining eyes. 'Do i really have to do this?' He took a second and thought for himself. ' should i give up?' He could feel a wave of anxiety swallowing him up. He wanted to give up. But his ego was too high No matter what he couldn't lose the bet to Minho.
It didn't take much long for Hyunjin to notice that there was something off about Seungmin today. Leaving the brush and the pallet on the edge of the easel, he took quick steps towards his lover.
"Hey minnie.. everything okay? you look a bit off" Standing few inches away from Seungmin, he spoke up while softly placing a hand on his cheeks. Stroking the cheek with his thumb, Hyunjin tried to find an answer to his questions in Seungmin's eyes, when the latter took too long to answer.
Sucking in a deep breath Seungmin decided to let it out. "Let's break up" He tried but the voice was almost inaudible. "w-what..?" Seungmin could feel the surprise in Hyunjin's voice. "I said Let's break up." He knew Hyunjin heard what he said the first time. But no, Seungmin had to go again and stab Hyunjin's heart twice.
The moment he let out the words was the moment he felt like his world stopped. Seungmin didn't dare to look at Hyunjin's eyes. "You're kidding right? This is a joke right? But it isn't funny you know.." Hyunjin blurted out trying to find answers in Seungmin's eyes. Seungmin remained silent.
"Yah.. Kim Seungmin! Don't say things like this please. I really don't like it." Hyunjin tried to find answers in Seungmin's eyes. But he was avoiding Hyunjin's eyes.
Again.. Few minutes of silence.
"Are you for real? Minnie.. but why? You love me right? Please..." Hyunjin's voice was breaking as his eyes filled with tears.
"Yeah Hyunjin.. i Loved you.. not anymore. so let's break up" with that Seungmin turned around to walk away.
He froze on the same spot as he heard the first sniffling sound coming out from the person right behind him .
"Just.. don't go, we can always talk things out right? tell me what it is Seungmin.. i will try my best to understand.." Hyunjin spoke up again biting back another sob that was about to escape his throat.
'You are not too late Seunhmin-ah, turn around and explain him everything. He will understand and forgive you. Give him a hug' the inner seungmin was lecturing himself.
"I'm sorry Hyunjin-ah" he suddenly spoke up. But instead of turning around and hugging Hyunjin, he walked out of the room closing the dor behind him.
The moment he stepped out of the room he could hear Hyunjin's loud sobbings. The love of his life was breaking down, he wanted to go back inside and hug him. Tell him that everything will be fine and he is sorry for what ever he said and he didn't mean anything he said. But instead he wiped away a tear that was rolling on his cheek and walked out of the dorm.

"Next coming up Stray kids!"
Hyunjin heard the loud noise of the crowd as soon as the MC announced their group name.
"No tears, No mistakes" drying off his teary eyes Hyunjin muttered to himself. "Smile Hyunjin-ah, For the members and STAYs" looking at his own reflection from the dressing room mirror he tried to force a smile to his face. Hyunjin didn't want to break down once again and ruin the make up right before their performances. With a deep sigh Hyunjin stepped out of the room.
Hyunjin was in pain. The sting feeling in his heart, he felt like it was some kind of a disease spreading through his organs and numbing down his whole body slowly killing him. The sting feeling of missing someone. The sting feeling of missing that someone's soothing voice, soft touch, warm hugs.
Hyunjin missed Seungmin.
All the late night cuddles, the stupid nothings they whispered in each others ears, His cold finger tips on his warm skin, the back hugs and the kisses on his nose. Hyunjin was missing his home.

With another wave of loud cheers Stray Kids bowed once again and stepped down from the stage. As expected the performance went well without any mistakes. Hyunjin could tell every member was satisfied with their performances, just by the huge smiles on their faces.
While observing every members' smiley faces in the dressing room his eyes accidentally met with those eyes. The eyes he's been trying to avoid for the past few days. But now it's too late to look away. Hyunjin could feel the sting feeling creeping in to his heart once again.
'No! No! No! No! don't tear up. You can't tear up infront of him stupid' Hyunjin was mentally slapping himself when he felt his eyes watering. He didn't want to appear weak infront of Seungmin pr anyone. But little did he knew that he will be breaking down in the next few minutes. So he stood up from his spot and walked out of the dressing room to find a peaceful place to let his heart out
Seungmin knew Hyunjin by his heart. When he stood up from his spot Seungmin could tell that Hyunjin was trying to get away from people to find a hiding spot. Seungmin knew Hyunjin a little too much that it broke his heart. If anyone could hear the sound of a heart break...
Seungmin's first thought was to follow him. But he hesitated. Once again a familiar feeling of anxiety and guilt rushed in to his heart. "What if doesn't want to talk to me? What if he avoids me again? like he did for the past few days?" Seungmin didn't realise he was thinking out loud until he heard a reply from BangChan who stood right next to him in the dressing room.
"If you really want something, don't hesitate to ho for it Seungmin-ah. No matter how many times you fail, try harder the next time" BangChan patted his shoulder with a warm smile.
With the new motivation he got from his team leader, Seungmin replied BangChan with a quick smile and picked up his pace to go find the love of his life.
He's been away from Hyunjin for too long. Seungmin missed seeing the genuine smile on his face. He missed the warm body that hugged him in the middle of the night, He missed waking up to see the pretty face of Hyunjin's. He missed Hyunjin. His other half

Seungmin heard a muffled sob in the dark dressing room as he entered. He could tell it was Hyunjin. Who else would be sobbing in a dark dressing room even after the music show ended. And it's all thanks to him. The reason why the most precious heart in the world is crying pain was him and his stupid bet.
Seungmin felt his eyes tearing up as he took few steps inside the room. The room was dark and silent that he could hear his own breathing. He didn't bothered to turn on the lights. He knew Hyunjin was somewhere in the room. He could feel it and that gave him the courage to walk further in to the room.
Another muffled sob was heard and Seungmin was able to confirm that Hyunjin was sitting under a dressing table.
All he wanted to do was hold the love of his life in his arms and sooth him.
He could get mad at Minho for betting such absurd thing in the first place. But his heart knew it was Him who choose to pick winning the bet over Hyunjin's feelings. And he felt like shit for doing that. He was trying to correct the mistake he made. Seungmin didn't want the special thing the had between them to end like this.
Inhaling a deep breath Seungmin broke the silence. "J-Jinnie..." He felt like there was something stuck in his throat. Trying his best to not let Hyunjin know that he was biting back a sob that was trying to escape him, he spoke up again.
"My Jinnie.. I'm soo sorry for everything.." As he started he could hear Hyunjin sniffling.
"I was too stupid to break your heart. I'm such a dumb idiot. I really really didn't mean a single word i said on that day. I was too stupid Hyunjinnie..." Seungmin didn't want to break down but couldn't he help himself.
The dark room was once again filled with sobbings and sniffling sounds of two latters. Few minutes passed as the room slowly went silent. "I-I know it's hard and unfair b-but.. " Seungmin stuttered. "Jinnie.. please forgive this stupid useless idiot..." Again silence.
"I totally understand if you don't even want to see my face or hear my voice . But I will try harder. I will try harder next time to show you how much i love you.." Seungmin let out in one breath as he could hear small sniffles from Hyunjin.
"I.. really regret everything and I.. miss you" the last part of the sentence was almost inaudible.
The room fell in to few minutes of thick silence. "S-stupid.. Fool.." Seungmin could hear Hyunjin muttering under his breath. Even though it wasn't the right moment Seungmin could feel a small smile creeping in to his face.
"Okay... I'll forgive you" Seungmin felt like his heart was about to burst as he heard Hyunjin's small voice. His dried eyes were tearing up once again. But this time with happy tears. "But..." Hyunjin broke his silence once again "only if you promise to hive me more kisses and cuddles" Seungmin could picture the pout on Hyunjin's lips even in the dark. He couldn't help the huge smile that was plastered on his face. He was smiling with tears streaming down his face in a dark room like a psycho.
"My jinnie.. i promise to give you my whole world." He said as he moved closer to the dressing table Hyunjin was hiding under and crouching down planning to shower the boy with kisses and cuddles.

"Yah!! Seungmin-ah are you inside?" Minho knocked on Seungmin's door.
No answer. The elder knew Seungmin was inside the room all the day as they were having their off day and he was just trying to annoy Minho.
"YAh Seungmin-ah come out or I'll come in!" Minho gave his last warnig.
"Urghh what is it hyung?" a small smirk was plastered on Minho's face when he heard an annoyed voice inside the room, few steps walking to the door and then the door opened.
"What is it hyung?" Seungmin asked once again. "Here take this to the other dorm and enjoy it with Hyuni." with a blank face he pressed a paper bag in to Seungmin's chest and walked back to the kitchen.
Seungmin was surprised. Taking a quick glance inside the paper bag he noticed there were two Bento boxes filled with food.
He knew Minho was trying to make it up for the stupid bet he made. This was his way of apologizing. With a soft smile on his lips Seungmin took his phone and dialed Hyunjin's number.
