Summary
Avatar Aang has nightmares of being in the avatar state. That seemingly mindless being that is the amalgamation of every past life, more minds than any human can withstand. Yet, his nightmares do not come of the battle with Ozai, no, they go to that fateful evening where La wiped out the Fire Navy Fleet of the Northern Water Tribe. In the heat of the moment, Aang ignored all voices around him, including the voice in his mind of La themself, as he stepped into the pool. Now, though, his dreams of the voices around him come into clarity…and the words La spoke into Aang’s mind come clearly.
“Raava, I cannot forgive this transgression. Combine your energies with mine.”
