NEW AVENGERS COMPOUND
NEW YORK, NEW YEARS DAY 2028

We open with Sam Wilson (Captain America), Natasha Romanov (formerly Black Widow), Bruce Banner (Professor Hulk), Thor, and S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Monica Chang sitting in what appears to be a teacher's lounge in The New Avengers Compound (based on The Avengers Compound/New Avengers Facility from The MCU). Natasha stands by the window, looking down on the statues of every fallen hero (Steve Rogers, Tony Stark, Hank Pym, Janet Pym, Carol Danvers, Clint Barton, Peter Parker, and others that have died over the years).

Chang: You guys sure you want to go through with this idea?

Sam: I figured it's what Steve would want. He tried to bring this idea forward years ago.

Thor: Aye, and we never did know what it was.

Hulk: Until now. The world will always need saving and we aren't always gonna be here to ensure it's safety, right?

Chang: Ms Romanov, what are your thoughts?

Nat is still thinking about her husband giving his life to save the universe from Thanos and Doctor Doom before she speaks up and goes over to join the group.

Natasha: I know for a fact that my son will want to apply and it's something I'm allowing as long as you'll have me as one of the teachers here. Although, I think there are two particular candidates that want to be heroes but their mother will take some convincing after everything she's been through.

Chang: You're referring to Ava Parker, aren't you?

Natasha just nods, remembering the last time she talked with her former pupil not ending well due to what happened during The Infinity War Event. It did not go well. Thor stands tall with a smile.

Chang: In that case, S.H.I.E.L.D. is more than happy to bankroll this venture along with Stark Industries and XanaTronics.

Thor: This project has Asgard's blessing as well and my daughter will happily apply.

Hulk: How is Sif anyway, Your Highness?

Thor: Still the same woman I married years ago. How is the fair Betty Ross?

Hulk: A little less... red but still a great woman.

Sam: And Agreste Fashion will happily give our students costumes, according to Mrs Agreste.

Natasha: Good to hear because I need a suit for James.

Chang: So, should we discuss the teaching positions?

Sam: Nat is going to help with the physical courses with Jocasta and Jessica Keynes.

Natasha: Why not Thor?

Thor: As much as I'd love to focus on helping you all with this project, Asgard should be my top priority. That said, however, I will be available for guest appearances from time to time. Maybe finally show that I'm the strongest Avenger.

Hulk: In your dreams, Goldilocks.

Chang: Back to the subject at hand, gentlemen.

Sam: Right. The Fantastic Four will help out with some subjects along with Strange and Ant-Man.

Natasha: No X-Men?

Sam: I figured they'd be busy with their own school.

???: Not all of us, Captain.

Everyone turns to see Jimmy Hudson (Wolverine) standing by the door.

Sam: Jimmy.

Jimmy: Didn't think I'd let you guys have all the fun, did ya?

Natasha: It would be surprising if you did.

Jimmy: True.

Sam: So does that satisfy you?

Chang: It does and I'll pass the info on to the board.

Pepper walks into the room.

Pepper: Sorry I'm late. There's a ton of reporters out there and I had a hard time getting by without using my armour.

Sam: Sorry, Pepper. Guess we should let the public know about this place.

The gathered adults leave the room and head on down towards the front entrance to greet a huge gathering of reporters.

Sam: Greetings, everyone. I am Sam Wilson and I'm sure you're all wondering what this announcement we're making is. Don't worry, it's not to say The Avengers have disbanded.

Jimmy: Again.

Sam: ... Again. No, it's sorta good news for all the young people out there that want to become a part of the next generation of Earth's Mightiest Heroes as we are proud to announce the first ever Avengers Academy. I know, this'll lead to a lot of questions so please, one at a time.

Sam politely points to an older Olivia Urich, who is now married to Miles.

Olivia: Captain America? Olivia Morales of Daily Bugle Communications. The only questions I have are when can the new generation start applying and what will be the ground rules for this whole new facility.

Sam: Applicants can start applying now before we fully open on 15th later this month. As for the rules, they will be available to read of the plaque in the main lobby and the induction leaflets given to every single student. More importantly, applicants don't need to pay anything because all funding has been generously donated from our allies in S.H.I.E.L.D., Stark Industries, The Baxter Institute, and XanaTronics. We want all of our students to have a fair shot and paying tuition takes away from that fair shot. Next question?

Leila Davis: Leila Davis of The Daily Globe. Are you sure opening a school like this is a good idea, especially with what happened six years ago? More importantly, won't your enemies target this facility-?

Chang: S.H.I.E.L.D. has taken every precaution necessary to ensure that no villain will ever set foot on these grounds or harm the students training here.

Pepper: As has Stark Industries with our new security personal. Allow me to introduce The Iron Leigon, one of the last projects my husband worked on before his death.

Cue twenty four Iron Man shaped androids zooming overhead and hovering above the gathered civilians. This is The Iron Legion (based on The MCU version as seen in Age Of Ultron).

Pepper: Parents will never have to worry about the safety of their children while these guys are around the entire facility. That is a promise.

Sam: And no, before anyone asks, we don't have a full list of applicants as of this moment nor can we divulge who the applicants are as that would make their families primary targets for attack from some of the most dangerous criminals on the planet. Any other questions?
Silence.

Sam: Thank you and have a good day.

With that said, the crowd leaves the area and the older/retired heroes head back inside just as Jocasta begins receiving applications to Avengers Academy.

Sam: Well, time to get ourselves ready.

We fade to black.

Notes:

Avengers Academy will open very soon.

Chapter 2: Miss Fortune

Chapter Text

PARIS, FRANCE
THE YEAR 2028

We open in the third bedroom of The Agreste Mansion. We see Amber Agreste sleeping away as half of her hair in now covering her face as she softly sleeps. Soon enough, she's woken up by the sound of someone knocking. The knocking was so startling that she destroys her entire bed with a small touch from the green and black energy from her right hand. She hits the ground hard, making the 12 year old groan in pain.

Amber: Owwww...

???: Morning, sleepy head.

Amber: Hey, Dad. Wait, sleepy? Me? Nah... I've been awake since 7am... I think? What time is it, anyway?

"Dad": It's 7:30am exactly, Miss Fortune.

Amber is now fully awake after hearing that answer.

Amber: Shit!

Amber rushes to her feet and pulls on her dressing gown before rushing out past her dad, who is revealed to be an older Adrien Agreste.

Adrien: *sigh* Like mother like daughter, I guess.

Amber quickly showers away at herself in a blind panic mode that would give her mother a run for her money. Then she changes before quickly munching away at her breakfast while keeping an eye on her time. She leaps down the steps of The Agreste Mansion before getting greeted by her dad.

Adrien: Now, are you sure you have everything?

Amber: Yes.

Adrien: Dresses?

Amber: Stacks.

Adrien: Shoes?

Amber: More than the ones Mom has.

Adrien: Shampoo?

Amber: Dad...

Adrien: Shampoo?

Amber: Ugh, yes. I have enough and I'll buy more while I'm in New York while training.

Adrien's bodyguard, Ezra, shakes his head lightly before interrupting and signing away at Adrien, telling the guy that "He has nothing to worry about as I'll be with her at all times."

Adrien: Thank you, old friend.

???: AMBER!!!

Cue a boy of mixed descent rushing into the place and stopping just beside Amber. This is Joshua Lahiffe, son of Nino and Alya Lahiffe.

Amber: Here to see me off, Josh?

Josh: Hell yeah. You're my BFF and I'll be damned if I don't say goodbye to you before you leave for Avengers Academy!

They share a hug, much to Adrien's annoyance.

Adrien: Okay, wrap it up, you two lovebirds.

Amber: Dad, we're just friends!

Adrien: Your flight's in a few minutes, Sunflower.

Amber: Right. Josh, I'll be back if you need me. Just ask Mom or Dad for The Horse Miraculous and make a portal home but I doubt something big will happen.

Joshua: I won't let you down.

They exchange a handshake before Amber gives her dad one last hug before getting in The Agreste Family Limo. Adrien and Joshua wave goodbye as the vehicle drives off. We cut to the Agreste Limo pulling up to The Agreste Private Jet at the airport and Amber's mother is waiting for her. Her mother being an older Marinette.

Amber: Mom!

Marinette: Didn't think I'd forget to say goodbye to my daughter, did ya?

They hug each other tightly.

Marinette: I left a costume for you to try on in the plane. It should fit.

Amber: Thanks, Mom. Hope you don't mind if I modify it a bit during the flight.

Marinette: As long as it's acceptable and doesn't distract your allies or attract your enemies.

Amber: I pinky swear.

They do the pinky swear thing before Amber walks up the steps of the private jet.

Marinette: Oh, if you come across any of my friends there...

Amber: If I do, I'll be sure to say hi.

Marinette waves her daughter off as we fade to Amber relaxing as the plane flies across the skies over The North Atlantic Ocean. Amber looks to the case containing her costume as Ezra listens to calming music to distract him from his fear of flying. She gives her suit a full inspection after trying it on. Much like her parents' Miraculi suits, it's semi skin tight and features the colours of Ladybug and Chat Noir (Red, Black, and Green). As soon as she slips on her mask, she looks at herself in the mirror.

Amber: Hmm... the left sleeve has got to go and will make the bad guys wonder if my destructive powers work on both hands.

Amber uses her finger charged of negative energy to carefully slice off the left sleeve. She charges up her right hand before running it along the part of her suit at the front of her neck and creates a mouth covering.

Amber: That's more like it. All that's missing is a belt.

She creates a belt that hangs from her right hip along with a small retractable bo staff in a holster.

Amber: There we go. All done... apart from a name. Born of Creation and Destruction, a luck charm for good or bad, I am... Miss Fortune! Yeah, Miss Fortune it is! Miss Fortune.

She then proceeds to do a few hero poses as we cut to the jet arriving in New York and Amber going with Ezra to a hotel. As the car drives along, Amber stares out the window and takes in the sights of the city while Empire State Of Mind Part II Broken Down by Alicia Keys plays quietly in the background. Sitting in her hotel room, Amber is bored out of her mind due to Avengers Academy accepting applicants tomorrow and because she forgot to ask for the hotel's Wi-Fi Password.

Amber: That's it. I'm going out.

She creates a grappling gun and, after climbing out her window, lowers herself to the ground floor. However, she loses her grip on the gun and falls to her death but she gets caught by a boy a year younger than her. Amber shakes a little before realising what happened.

"Boy": Are you okay, Miss?

Amber: Yes, thank you. I just lost my grip on...

She can't finish her sentence due to looking at her saviour, who is none other than Benjy Parker, son of Peter and Ava Parker. Blushing like mad, she quickly gets back on her feet and composes herself.

Amber: Thank you, kind sir.

Benjy: Anything for a pretty girl. Uh, I mean, it's no big deal. Any guy would've done that.

Finding his flustering slightly adorable, Amber laughs a little before giving her saviour a hug.

Amber: Again, thank you and I hope I can repay you some day. Now, I'll carry on my way. Hopefully, we will meet again.

She carries on her way, unaware that a group of thugs are tailing her, and Benjy goes to change into a version of his dad's costume once he spots the thugs. After that, the events of Son Of Spider-Man play out and Amber yells out for "Spider-Man" to wait.

Amber: Hey, wait! Wait!

She sighs as her hero swings away before deciding to turn to face the arriving police officers. Cut to the next morning as Amber arrives at Avengers Academy with her costume in her handbag.

Amber: Okay, time for the world to meet Miss Fortune. No pressure, Agreste. No pressure whatsoever...

She takes notice of Benjy up ahead with an older girl who Amber assumes is his sister. She rushes over towards him as we fade to black.

Chapter 3: Son Of Spider-Man

Chapter Text

NEW YORK CITY
THE YEAR 2028

We open with "Spider-Man" swinging down the street. He swings low just above a passing lorry. Most civilians take notice of him.

Random Bystander: Hey, New Spidey! Lookin' good!

"Spider-Man": Thanks!

Our hero keeps on swinging down the road, not stopping for some reason. He stops above The Daily Bugle jumbotron, which is reporting on something our hero just did.

Jameson: Recently, a petty crime was stopped just minutes ago by, according to the victim, Spider-Man. However, this isn't the Spider-Man that has been with us since 2019. The victim, revealed to be the daughter of Adrien Agreste and Marinette Agreste, only had this to say.

The jumbotron cuts to a girl around twelve years old. She has long golden hair, bluish green eyes, and has a red T-shirt on underneath a black leather jacket. This is Amber Agreste.

Amber: I don't know who that boy was or why he stopped to help me but all I can say is thanks and hope he continues to be like his predecessors. Who knows? Maybe one day I'll get the chance to thank him in person.

"Spider-Man" sighs at that.

"Spider-Man": Mom is gonna be slightly pissed when she sees this. I just know it. But first...

"Spidey" swings on towards the cemetery. After a long swing, he stops at a grave and removes his mask. Our hero is half Caucasian and half Hispanic, long bangs, grey eyes, and is about 11 years old. This is Benjy Parker, son of Peter Parker and Ava Ayala. The grave he is visiting is his dad's grave. On the gravestone, the plaque reads...

Benjy takes a deep breath before speaking.

Benjy: Hey, Dad. Hope you're alright wherever you are. I just wanted to drop by and let you know how I'm keeping. It's kind of a long story. I'm doing well in my studies, almost the top of my class, and I help Mom out around the house from time to time. Like father like son, I guess. Maya's keeping well. She's on the basketball team and is also training to be a hero like you. Mom would kill her if she found out but us Parker siblings have to watch out for one another. Right?

He chuckles lightly at that before his expression turns sour.

Benjy: Mom hasn't been herself since The Infinity War. Losing me, Grandma, and Aunt Zia to The Snap hit her hard, almost like when... When we all lost you ten years ago. I guess that's the reason she hates the idea of us being heroes. I don't want to go behind her back but I just get an urge to help people regardless of what happens to me. That's mainly the reason I saved that girl from those muggers. ... God, I wish you were here right now. If you really are watching over me, Dad, tell me what I should do. What would you do?

???: I know what he'd do.

Benjy slips his mask on before turning to face... his mother, Ava Ayala.

Benjy: Mom...

Ava: Hey, Benjy. I thought I'd find you here.

Benjy: Look, about what you saw on the news-.

Ava: It's okay. I'm not mad at you. In fact, I'm proud. Of you and Maya. Before you ask, I've known about Maya sneaking out at night for a few months now.

Benjy: How-?

Ava: Your grandmother was a cop. Did you forget that?

Benjy lowers his head and lets out a sigh of defeat. Ava shakes her head at that.

Ava: You wanna tell me about this girl you saved?

Benjy: Okay, let me think...

We flash back to a few minutes ago and see Amber walking down the street, unaware that a few crooks are following her. In a matter of minutes, they surround her. There are seven in total. Their leader walks on over like he owns the city.

Leader: Hey, baby, you lost?

Amber: If I was, I'd ask for directions.

Leader: True but it's a shame you took a wrong turn into our turf.

Amber: Don't see your name on it, wise ass.

Leader: A pretty mouth shouldn't say things like that. Let's teach you some manners.

Amber, smirking a little, begins charging some weird magical energy from her hands. Her right hand glows black & green and her left hand glows red & white. Before she makes a move, the leader gets flung into the air by a web and hangs above them all.

Leader: HELP! GET ME DOWN FROM HERE!

Then, swooping in fast, Benjy swings kicks three into a nearby wall, crashing through it. He turns his attention to the three close to Amber, who he notices punches on with her right hand and sends flying out into the main street.

Benjy: Whoa...

Amber: Behind you!

Luckily for Miss Agreste, Benjy sensed the guy and proceeds to leap into the air, web the guy up and land a roundhouse kick to the face. Benjy web zips over to Amber and takes out the other two guys with little effort. Suddenly, he hears the sound of a gun and turns to see Amber getting held at gun point by the leader.

Leader: Stay back, kid, or this pretty face has her face splattered on the wall.

Benjy: Stupid! You should've knocked him out before attacking his friends!

Benjy just straightens himself up and raises his hands towards the air. Amber takes this opportunity to elbow the guy in the stomach, staggering the leader. Benjy then fires webbing at the gun and leader's face, yanks them towards him, and delivers a knock out punch to the leader's face. Benjy pants quietly before checking on Amber.

Benjy: You okay?

Amber: Uh, yeah...

Benjy: Well, gotta go.

Benjy swings away while Ambers yells at him to wait. We fade to the present as Benjy finishes his story and looks down in shame. Ava places a hand on his chin, making him look at her. She smiles warmly at her son.

Ava: Hey, baby, chin up.

Benjy: Aren't you at least mad that-?

Ava: That you went against my word and decided to be a hero? Slightly but not entirely. Your dad and I did the same thing when we were your age except we were a little subtle about it.

Ava walks over to a bench and sits down. A tear runs down her face as memories of Peter's death come back to her mind. Benjy sits with her as she begins breaking down, hugging her tight.

Ava: I miss him, Benjy. I miss him so much...

Benjy: I know. I do too.

???: Same here, despite me not really showing it.

Benjy and Ava look to see the arrival of Maya Parker, Benjy's twin sister and thirteen years old.

Maya: Hey, Bro.

Benjy: I thought you were with the team.

Maya: I was but the party got boring. I decided come by and talk with Dad and found you two. Saw what you did on the news, Bro. Nice work.

Benjy: But I was a little sloppy, to be honest.

Ava sighs before speaking again.

Ava: I agree. Both of you are sloppy when it comes to this hero life, which is why you need training.

The twins look at their mother as she stands up and gives her husband's gravestone one last look.

Ava: I know your dad would say yes to what I'm about to say but I'll say it anyway. Benjy and Maya, I'm letting you both attend Avengers Academy.

Their jaws drop, which Ava finds adorable.

Ava: On one condition. If either of you get hurt badly or become involved in some massive conspiracy or nearly get killed on a training mission, I'm pulling you both out of that school. Deal?

Benjy: Deal. You have my word, Mom.

Maya: What about seeing other people like a boy or girl?

Ava: I'd allow it as long as you introduce me to them.

Maya: Then, Mommy, you got a deal.

They all shake hands as we fade to early the next morning. Benjy and Maya stand outside the massive building that that looks like a combination of The New Avengers Facility from The MCU and The Triskelion. This mighty building is Avengers Academy.

Maya: Ready, Brother?

Benjy: I'm ready as I'll ever be, Sis.

Maya: Yeah, me too.

We cut to black.

Chapter 4: Goddess Of Thunder

Chapter Text

ETERNIA
THE YEAR 2028

We open with Evilseed sitting alone in a dark chamber underneath what remains of Snake Mountain as he sits quietly, alone and lost in his own thoughts until he senses something through his vines.

Evilseed: WHO DISTURBS MY SOLITUDE?!

Cue an Asgardian being dragged into the chamber, wrapped up in the vines under Evilseed's control. It's a young girl in her mid teens and she has long blonde hair, blue eyes, and is wearing ceremonial Asgardian battle armour. This is Torunn Thorsdottir, daughter of Thor and Lady Sif.

Torunn: This is no way to treat a princess.

Evil Seed: Torunn, the daughter of Thor.

Torunn: Evilseed, a son of a bitch. You're still alive? I thought He-Man and She-Ra killed you years ago during the final battle against Skeletor and Hordak? At least that's what Aunt Teela said to me.

Evilseed: Lies told over a camp fire that were spread by that oaf of a king on this planet. I lived through years of conflict and will continue to do so in the years to come.

Torunn: Yeah, about that. It may not last long because... I'm not alone and I have the power of my father flowing through me.

Torunn breaks free from the vines thanks to her inherited strength and raises her hand to her left side... and nothing happens, much to Evilseed's confusion.

Torunn: Sorry. Sometimes it takes a while. Or a few seconds, depending on the day.

Cue Torunn's lightning charged sword smashing through the ceiling of the chamber and landing in her hand. She points it at Evil Seed, attempting to zap the evil being. Evil seed goes flying through several walls before he rises back up to block an incoming sword strike from Torunn.

Torunn: C'mon, fiend, give me a worthy fight!

Evilseed: It would be my pleasure to end your life and deliver your head to your parents!

Evilseed shoves her back before forming blades with his fingers, making Torunn raise an eyebrow, before he engages. Torunn tries zapping the villain again but he dodges to slash at her face. She ducks down to do a gut strike but it isn't very effective. Evilseed kicks her in the face before throwing a slash x6 combo but Torunn deflects the final blow before charging up lightning stored in her blade and unleashes it on the villain, sending Evilseed smashing through the ceiling and out in the open. Torunn leaps up after him and tries landing a slam strike to the face but the villain dodges to counterattack with a kick to the right side. Torunn groans in pain before summoning a large bolt of lightning from the skies above.

Evilseed: Planning on delivering a killing blow?

Torunn: As tempting as that is...

Torunn uses her stored up lightning to zap Evilseed into a nearby cliff, rendering the villain unconscious.

Torunn: Imprisonment suits you better.

Cue Torunn's commanding officer arriving on the scene, revealed to be an older Catra, along with three Eternian soldiers. Catra notices the knocked out Evilseed.

Catra: Alright, boys, take the prisoner away while I speak with our other teammate.

Torunn scratches her head nervously while Catra crosses her arms.

Torunn: The guy's down for the count.

Catra: I'm pretty sure my orders were to wait for backup, Your Highness.

Torunn: Yeah, they were but I thought it was boring as Hel. Plus, dealing with the threat before he becomes a serious one is part of the job, right? Problem solved.

Catra: Great. I've got a Mini-Adora to babysit now...

Torunn: Never bothered you before, according to Aunt Adora.

Catra: You little...!

Torunn laughs while running away from a fuming Catra... until Teela arrives, prompting the two to bow before her.

Teela: I see you guys didn't need my help in dealing with Evilseed after all.

Catra: No, Queen Teela. Torunn found and subdued the slithery villain by herself.

Teela: I see. Thank you and well done, Torunn Of Asgard.

Torunn: Anything to finally bring peace to your home, Your Highness.

Teela: Rise, both of you. Now, Catra, we should return to the castle with the prisoner and let our guest return home.

Catra: Yeah. Hey, kid. I know I don't say this often but... nice job down there.

Torunn nods before the three women part ways. Torunn arrives at the tallest peak in all of Eternia and looks towards the stars.

Torunn: Uncle Heimdall, I'm ready to come home now.

Cue Torunn being engulfed in the energies of The Bifrost and returning to her home.

ASGARD

Torunn arrives and is greeted by Heimdall... as well as her parents. She bows before Thor and Sif.

Torunn: Mother. Father.

Thor: Rise, my daughter.

Sif: We saw your exploits on Eternia. Nice form but you left your right side open for an attack.

Torunn: Sorry, Mother.

Sif: You have nothing to apologise for, my dear.

Torunn: Can we practice so that my right side won't be open for an attack?

Sif: About that. Your father wishes to tell you something regarding that.

Sif bows to her daughter, Torunn returning the bow, before leaving to attend to other matters. Thor stands in front of his daughter.

Thor: Torunn, your training is nearly complete and you've done a good job under your current training regime.

Torunn: I can feel a but coming, Father.

Thor: I am sending you to Midgard to complete your training under the tutalage of my allies there.

Torunn: Midgard? Ugh, that realm is no fun.

Thor: That's not entirely true. Remember all the tales I told you about my adventures there?

Torunn: Well, yes.

Thor: Then what's the problem?

Torunn: I don't know anyone there and-.

Thor: Nor did I when I was banished there years ago but I lived and learned with every passing day until I became the man I was always meant to be. King of Asgard and the father of the bravest girl I know.

Torunn gives a small smile of embarassment before Thor gives her one last bit of encouragement.

Thor: And that girl needs to expand her surrounds more and learn to be one of the greatest heroes that will be written about in future legends of all The Nine Realms. Do this for me, Torunn, and at least give it a shot. Midgard is filled with surprises and I hope you come to experience the same feeling of comradery and battle that I felt when I helped save that realm countless times with the mightiest warriors to ever live there.

Torunn: In that case, I'll give it a shot.

Thor: Good. When you get there, head to a place called Avengers Academy. You'll learn everything you'll ever need to know there.

Heimdall: If you ever need to return, Princess, I'll be ready and waiting.

Torunn: Thank you, Uncle.

Torunn gives her father one last hug before departing through The Bifrost.

UPSTATE NEW YORK

We see Torunn arriving just outside of Avengers Academy's front gates and she looks at her surroundings before looking towards Avengers Academy.

Torunn: Let's see what this realm will have in store for me.

With that said, Torunn approaches Avengers Academy. We fade to black.

Chapter 5: Heart Of Iron

Chapter Text

MASSACHUSETTS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
THE YEAR 2028

We open in a workshop with the Kesha cover of This Is Me from The Greatest Showman playing in the background as we see someone working on what appears to be an Iron Man suit (based loosely on The HAMMER Drones from Iron Man 2). The person in question is a fifteen year old African American girl called Riri Williams. She removes her goggles and inspects the helmet of her armour.

Riri: Almost ready. Just a little tweaking and… done. AMI, what do you think?

AMI: My diagnosis says that it is 98% complete, Riri.

Riri: Then I just need a power source and-.

???: Oh, you mean something like this?

Riri turns around to be greeted by her work partner, who is none other than Morgan Stark, and is being offered an ARC Reactor.

Riri: Morgan, I can't use that. It's something your dad-.

Morgan: Hey, my dad wanted to help make the world a better place with ARC Tech and, well, this might help make your world a better place.

Riri takes the reactor and opens the heart shaped port for the reactor to slide in. The ARC Reactor powers up the armour and slowly comes online.

AMI: Armour 100% complete.

Riri: How about that?

Morgan: Care to take it out for a test drive?

Riri: Hell yeah.

Cue the upper torso of the armour opening up and the helmet retracting for Riri to slide into it. It closes up and all systems come online thanks to AMI downloading itself into the armour's systems.

Riri: Okay, Iron Heart Mark 1 is now fully online. AMI, can you help Morgan run a system check?

Morgan slides up to a laptop and starts checking the numbers.

Morgan: According to this, all systems are go. Remember to take this test nice and-.

Cue Riri zooming through the ceiling at full power, much to Morgan's shock.

Morgan: Slow...? Riri, can you read me?

Iron Heart: WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I'D CALL THIS A COMPLETE SUCCESS, MORGAN! I CAN FLY!

Morgan sighs in both relief and amusement before activating her nanotech armour (based on Iron Maiden's armour from Marvel Mangaverse only difference being the colour scheme is pink and silver) and zooming off after her partner. Riri is taking in the sights just as Morgan joins her.

Iron Heart: Slowpoke.

Iron Maiden: Yeah, well, I wasn't expecting you to smash through the ceiling before you gave me the chance to open the skylight.

Iron Heart: C'mon, you're a Stark. I'm sure they'll give you a pass rather than some 15 year old with a habit of being slightly hotheaded.

Iron Madien: Suppose so, Iron Heart.

Iron Heart: Iron Heart?

Iron Maiden: Well, you've got a suit and need a hero name. Couldn't give you Iron Maiden because that's my name for when I attend Avengers Academy.

Iron Heart: Fair. Wait, you're actually enrolling in Avengers Academy?

Iron Maiden: More like attending a superhero club than attending a new school because I like MIT and don't want to abandon you.

Iron Heart: Aw...

Iron Maiden: Oh no, I'm taking that back now.

Iron Heart: Race me and I'll allow you to take it back.

Iron Maiden: Deal.

Cue the two armoured girls shooting across the skies at high speeds. Riri is in the lead until Morgan activates her booster jets in her boots, easily surpassing Riri in microseconds. Cue Morgan getting a call from her mother.

Iron Maiden: Hey, Mom, what's up?

Pepper: Morgan, are you flying around the city again?

Iron Maiden: ... Maybe?

Pepper: C'mon, we talked about you using your armour in public.

Iron Maiden: I know but I just wanted to hang out with a friend before the big day tomorrow. It was really important to her.

Pepper: I assume this friend is the other ARC Reactor signal I'm picking up on The Stark Network?

Iron Heart: Hey, Mrs S!

Iron Maiden: Riri, not now!

Pepper: Hello, Miss Williams, did you forget that tonight-?

Iron Heart: Mrs Stark, everything is fine. I just wanted to test out something and we're heading back to MIT now.

Pepper: Wait, Riri, how are you able to-?

Iron Maiden: Oh, Mom, I think you're breaking up. Talk to you later. Byeee~!

Pepper: Morgan Stark, don't you da-.

Morgan hangs up on her mother and the two girls zoom back to MIT. Morgan hovers over the roof and retracts her armour to land safely. Riri cuts the power to her boot jets... and crashes through the roof of the tech lab of MIT. She lands/smashes a work bench and sighs in annoyance while Dum-E uses the fire extinguisher on her. Soon enough, the two girls quietly make their way back to their dorm room... and are greeted by Pepper, who stands with her arms crossed.

Pepper: Morgan Hannah Stark.

Morgan: Crap...

Riri: Hey, Mrs S...?

Morgan: How did you get here so-?

Cue Pepper pointing to her Rescue Armour (based on The MCU and Iron Man: Armored Adventures versions of that armour) hovering outside the dorm room window.

Pepper: Mind telling me about that little stunt there?

Riri: It was my fault, Ma'am. I wanted to test out my armour so badly that I didn't think about anything else. It's a habit I'm trying to do away with.

Pepper presses a button on her watch and her armour projects a hologram of Riri's armour in the middle of the room.

Pepper: You made this by yourself?

Riri: Along with my own AI. Your... husband was my hero and I wanted to try to be like him by following in his footsteps, hence why I made the armour and AMI.

AMI: I appreciate the comment, Riri.

Riri: Don't mention it.

Pepper: Impressive. And how'd you get the ARC Reactor to power it?

Morgan: I might've built it for her using Dad's blueprints. Sorry...

Pepper shakes her head in amusement at her daughter's guilty tone.

Pepper: You did a great thing, Morgan, and that's all that matters. I'm proud of you and I'm sure your father is too.

Morgan smiles a little while Pepper turns to Riri.

Pepper: Riri, you ever thought about applying for Avengers Academy?

Riri: Oh no, I couldn't-.

Pepper: Morgan, how was your friend in that armour?

Morgan: She's fully mastered the flight capabilities and might master combat before the opening day.

Pepper: That settles it then. Riri, I am personally giving you an email application form for Avengers Academy. I really hope you accept.

Riri: Ma'am, thank you but... becoming a superhero wasn't something I planned on doing.

Pepper: Neither did Tony but... he did it to right his wrongs and make the world a more safer place for everyone. I'd like to think he succeeded in his goal when he gave his life to bring back half of the population that Thanos wiped out.

Morgan looks down a little but feels her mother and Riri hug her. Morgan slowly returns the hug before Pepper decides to leave.

Pepper: Morgan, remember not to be late and stay out of trouble. Riri, I'm trusting you to watch out for my daughter.

Riri: We watch out for each other, Ma'am.

Pepper steps into her armour.

Rescue: Please don't call me Ma'am.

Pepper leaves the area and Morgan looks to Riri, who is in the middle of accepting her application into Avengers Academy.

AVENGERS ACADEMY, UPSTATE NEW YORK

We fade to the opening day of Avengers Academy. The two armoured girls land by the gates just beside Benjy Parker, Maya Parker, and Amber Agreste. Benjy stares in awe at both sets of functioning Iron Man esque armour.

Benjy: Whoa...! That’s ARC Reactor powered flight armour x2! It's so cool!

Maya: Nerd alert~!

Morgan retracts her armour and smiles at the still awestruck Benjy.

Morgan: Thanks. My dad made it for me.

Benjy: So cool!

Riri: Not to brag but I made my armour all by myself with a little help from Miss Moneybags here.

Morgan: Oi, Riri, watch it. Sorry about her. I'm Morgan Stark, soon to also be known as Iron Maiden.

Benjy: Benjy Parker, soon to be known as Spider-Boy.

Maya raises an eyebrow because of her brother not taking up their dad's name.

Morgan: Okay, Spider-Boy, we'll see you inside.

With that said, Morgan heads on ahead with Riri.

Riri: He seems nice.

Morgan: I guess so. Maybe we'll be classmates?

Riri: I wouldn't get my hopes up too much, babe.

Morgan: Hey, you never know.

Riri: True. You never know what fate has in store...

Riri looks towards the statue of Iron Man and pays her respects along with Morgan, who cries a little.

Morgan: I hope I can make you proud, Dad.

Riri: I know you will.

Morgan hugs Riri, tearfully, before they head on into the assembly hall. We fade to black.
