Porsche sighed as he glanced down at his empty glass of beer and ordered himself another one. All of them were out, at Yok’s… having a little party. The wedding was just a couple of weeks away and in a few days, some of them were already going to be travelling to make sure that all of the preparations were going according to plan.
Porsche and Pete were sitting together at the bar, Tankhun was dancing with his bodyguards, who were also coming along to the wedding.
Not as bodyguards, though, but as Pete’s friends.
Pete smiled when he saw Arm and Pol with Tankhun and he sighed happily, turning over to the side where Kinn and Vegas were sitting, chatting about something and he pressed his lips together. Kim and Porchay were babysitting Venice while they were out.
Macau was at home with them as well. Chay and Macau were friends, so Pete was pretty sure that they were all having fun. Plus Leo was over as well. Pete was also having fun, though, when he turned to face his best friend he could tell that Porsche wasn’t in a really good mood and he pouted, feeling offended, sighing under his breath.
Porsche was drunk. Pete was as well. Not too much, just enough and he giggled happily, leaning over to the bar and then he pressed his lips together. Porsche sighed and then he thanked the bartender for another beer, taking a few sips of it, looking at Pete, who had a bright smile on his face. But, the frown on Porsche’s face was killing the mood.
“Ay, why are you frowning? This is a party, so you should be in a good mood,” said Pete and wrapped his arm around Porsche’s shoulders, wagging his eyebrows. “Come on, be happy, be happy.”
“Easy for you to say,” whined Porsche and glanced over his shoulder, looking at Kinn and he pouted again.
“What happened now?” asked Pete, too drunk to have a serious conversation and he laughed, but he tried to remain serious. If Porsche was really in trouble, then he…
“It’s just not fair,” said Porsche with a pout.
“What?”
“You're getting married,” said Porsche and Pete was offended. “And I’m not,” he carried on and Pete’s bad mood was immediately gone when he saw what was happening. Porsche was jealous because he wanted to get married as well? Funny.
“Ah,” said Pete and ordered himself another drink.
“It’s not fair,” said Porsche, his speech slurred. The alcohol had completely untied his tongue and now he was saying the first thing that was on his mind. Which was Kinn not even proposing to him yet and now he was offended.
“Well-”
“I mean he hasn't even proposed to me yet, that’s not fair,” said Porsche and glanced over at Pete's engagement ring. And the wedding ring was even more stunning. He felt jealous spreading again and he huffed. He was happy for Pete, but he was also kind of unhappy with Kinn. “If he likes it, he should put a ring on it,” said Porsche and pointed to his finger.
Pete glanced at Kinn and he narrowed his eyes. He felt for Porsche. As always Pete took Porsche’s side of the argument. After all, they were best friends. Through and through.
“I agree. You two have been together longer than Vegas and I.”
“That’s what I’m saying!” said Porsche and then he hid his face in his palms. “Maybe he doesn’t wanna marry me.”
“That’s not true. You’re a solid ten, my friend. You’re funny, sweet, handsome and amazing,” said Pete, laughing along as he was talking and he could see Porsche pouting, having that doe eyed look in his and he shook his head, looking over at Kinn, who was still talking to Vegas. “You two should get married.”
“Yes!”
“Maybe you should propose?”
Porsche pouted and sighed.
“I thought about it,’’ said Porsche, hiccuping and Pete arched his brows together.
“But?”
“I don’t know,” said Porsche. “I want a special proposal like you,” stated Porsche and then he closed his eyes. “Maybe I should plan it. I don’t know, Pete, I struggle. I mean I don’t even know if he wants to get married to me,” he said and shook his head. “He needs a hint!”
“The struggle is real for you,” said Pete and then he shook his head.
“I have an idea!’’ said Porsche and Pete glanced at him. “A bouquet!”
“Hah?” asked Pete.
“At your wedding!” exclaimed Porsche.
“What?” said Pete.
“Yes, yes,” said Porsche happily. “At the reception you will throw it among the crowd and-and I’ll catch it and then Kinn will have no other choice but to marry me,” stated Porsche, tapping Pete’s back as he laughed happily. “Oh, it’s a good plan. Leave it all to me,” said Porsche and Pete rolled his eyes, narrowing his eyes and he clicked with his tongue.
“We’re not-”
“I have a vision,” whined Porsche.
“Ugh, it’s so cheesy, Porsche,” said Pete and shook his head. “Can’t you just ask him instead? Like why won't he propose? Do you want me to go over and ask him now?” asked Pete and Porsche shook his head.
“You can’t do that,” said Porsche and Pete rolled his eyes.
“Why not?”
“He’ll know I’m desperate,” said Porsche and Pete groaned. “Plus, this will be a hint.”
“Just propose to him already..”
“No, I need to see how he feels about it first,” whined Porsche.
“Ugh, you’re so annoying.”
“No, I’m not annoying. I’m adorable,” said Porsche, happily giggling and Pete narrowed his eyes. If his looks could kill, Porsche wouldn’t be among the breathing at that very moment.
“Pete!” was what Pete heard when he was spotted by Porsche again. Pete was trying his best to keep himself hidden from Porsche, but that was kind of impossible.
“What?” groaned Pete.
Pete was on the dance floor with Tankhun, trying his best to have his fun and Tankhun narrowed his eyes when he saw Porsche bothering his baby. He stepped in front of him, placed his arms on top of his chest and he shook his head.
“Why are you bothering my Pete?” asked Tankhun and Pete quickly hid behind him.
“He’s annoying.”
“I’m not,” said Porsche and he placed his hands on top of his sides, looking over to Tankhun and he grinned. He knew that Tankhun was going to love his idea and Pete scowled at him as he was peeking from behind Khun’s shoulder.
“I have an idea,” said Porsche.
“What kind of an idea?” asked Tankhun.
“Pete will throw the bouquet to me at the reception,” said Porsche and Tankhun’s eyes lit up when he heard that.
“What? Pete, you wanna do this?” he asked as his voice was getting higher and higher. He turned around to Pete, grabbing his shoulders and he happily sighed. It’s been something that was on Tankhun’s mind as well, but Pete didn’t like the idea.
Saying it was too cheesy… hmph!
How rude.
But, now he changed his mind!
Right?
Tankhun was just as drunk as the other two.
“Okay, I can make a few changes to the schedule, but I can make it work,” said Tankhun and then he hummed along. “Will have to find some special song to go with the event, but it’ll be good. I think I can make it work. There’s still two weeks and I can make it all work. Trust me, Pete, we got this,’’ said Tankhun.
Pete almost didn’t have the heart to say no now.
“Ugh.”
“Please, can we just-”
“Pete, c’mon!” whined Porsche.
It took Pete a drink or two more to finally get behind the idea. In the end, he could picture it all so clearly as well. He even thought that it would be romantic.
“Sorry for ever doubting your vision, Porsche,” said Pete, giggling.
“It’s okay, it’s okay,” said Porsche and laughed happily, wrapping his arm around Pete’s waist as the two of them were slowly making their way through the club. Where were they going, anyway? Ah, they were still planning the whole thing, right?
“And you’re right!”
“Mn?”
“Kinn should have proposed by now already!”
“Right?!”
“Yes, so rude of him,” said Pete and he scowled at Kinn, who narrowed his eyes as he didn’t know what he had done wrong now. But he could tell that Pete and Porsche have been glaring at him for a while now.
“Now, he will! We made a full proof plan!”
“Yes!”
“Pete, we’re so cool,” said Porsche and Pete laughed along, nodding.
“Of course, we’re amazing. Vegas and Kinn are lucky to have us,” said Pete, feeling a sense of pride as he glanced at Vegas, who was now laughing along as he watched the two of them.
“You’ll help me plan our wedding too, right?’’ asked Porsche, now getting serious.
“Of course, we’re best friends after all,” said Pete and giggled.
Oh, the room around them was spinning. How funny!
“Pete,” sighed Porsche and turned to Pete, placing his hands on top of Pete’s shoulders and he shook his head, taking a deep breath. “You’re my best friend, you’re amazing and I love you so much,” said Porsche… or was that the cocktail saying all of that?
Pete felt emotions going through him and he nodded.
Oh, there were the tears now. Pete felt his eyes welling up, but he was really happy to have someone like Porsche for his best friend. Porsche was chaotic, but he was also an amazing friend.
“I love you more,” said Pete and gulped.
“How dare you?” asked Porsche. “I love you more!”
“No, I love you more!” said Pete and sniffled. “Oh my God, I’m getting married in two weeks, Porsche!”
“I know! Look at you getting married and all of that. Go get it, bestie!”
Pete hugged Porsche and didn’t even bother holding those tears back, sniffling loudly as he was gripping onto Porsche. Porsche was now a crying mess as Pete hugged him.
“I love us so much,” said Pete and Porsche took a deep breath in.
“Others are so jealous of us,” said Porsche. “We’re both hot and our men are both hot,” said Porsche, happily giggling along. Right now he felt like he was on top of the world. It was the best day ever. He was living his life.
Pete was nodding again.
“Eat your hearts out!” yelled Pete through the loud music. “I’m getting married to the hottest man out there!” he said and Vegas grinned when he heard that. The music wasn’t as loud as Pete thought.
Kinn rolled his eyes when he saw the satisfied smirk on Vegas’ lips.
“What’s with that smug grin?” asked Kinn and rolled his eyes. Vegas laughed and then he leaned back against his seat and picked up his glass of wine and emptied it, humming along.
“You’ve heard my man - he’s getting married to the hottest man,” he said with a grin. “That’s me,” said Vegas proudly and tipped his head back. Vegas was also feeling peppy because of the consumed alcohol and Kinn couldn’t help but to roll his eyes.
Yes, yes, he was happy for his cousin.
“Ugh,” said Kinn.
“Jealous?” asked Vegas and Kinn glanced at him.
“At you? Please,” said Kinn and then he crossed his legs.
“But you’ve heard my fiance , I’m the hottest one-”
Vegas was definitely showing off, however, before he was able to say something else, Kinn stood up and walked away. Vegas rolled his eyes, but he didn’t let that spoil his mood and he leaned back again happily, his mood getting even better when he saw Pete slowly walking towards him.
Pete was quite unsteady on his legs. Pete had a wide grin on his face and he giggled when he almost tripped over his feet. Luckily, Vegas’ arm was there to catch him and he ended up on top of Vegas’ lap instead, happily giggling when he found himself on top of Vegas, his arms already around his waist, pulling him closer and Pete sighed happily.
“Oops, I almost fell,” said Pete and started laughing.
Vegas reached up with his hand and gently cradled Pete’s face. His nose was red and he smiled.
“You’re drunk,” said Vegas.
“Yes,” said Pete proudly and then he squinted his eyes, leaning closer to Vegas. “You are as well!”
“Only a bit!”
“Oh, this is a party, we have to order you another round of drinks,” said Pete and grinned. He, too, was still in the mood for drinking. “I think I’ll have another one,” he said and Vegas shook his head.
“You’ve had enough.”
“Why?” asked Pete and glared down at him. “I want more.”
“Babe, you’re gonna have a terrible hangover tomorrow,” said Vegas.
“Psh.”
“No more,” ordered Vegas. “It’s an order.”
Pete’s eyes lit up when he heard it was an order.
“And if I don’t listen to you?” asked Pete, now straddling Vegas’ legs, wrapping his arms around Vegas’ neck, pulling himself closer.
Vegas grinned as his hands, which were now resting around Pete’s waist, were slowly travelling lower.
“I’ll have to punish you, Pete,” said Vegas, those words rolling off of his tongue and he could tell just how much Pete liked that. Pete liked that, maybe he shouldn’t listen to Vegas right now.
“You’ll have to discipline me,” said Pete.
“Yes.”
“Tie me up?” asked Pete cutely and somewhat hopefully.
Vegas chuckled and gently pinched Pete’s cheek. Vegas found Pete adorable, slowly guiding him closer and Pete was more than happy to lean in and place a kiss on top of Vegas’ lips. Lacing his fingers through Vegas’ hair, Pete gently pulled onto his hair, yanking his head back a bit.
Vegas hissed, but grinned and closed his eyes when Pete kissed him again, tasting the sweetness of the last cocktail that Pete had on the other’s tongue, growling softly as he brought his hand up and he held Pete by the back of his neck as they kissed again.
“Ugh, get a room,” heard Vegas and he opened his eyes.
It was Kinn, scowling at them. Still, Porsche was right there in his arms as well, waiting for a kiss and Vegas rolled his eyes. Pete snickered and shook his head.
“They’re jealous of us,” stated Pete proudly and Vegas nodded, his arms again resting around Pete’s waist. “In two weeks you’ll be my husband,” cooed Pete happily against Vegas’ lips, but before Vegas was able to say something back, Pete was already on his legs, dragging Vegas onto his legs as well because a song that was one of Pete’s favourites suddenly started playing in the background and Pete wanted to dance.
Vegas couldn’t say no to those pouty lips, so he allowed Pete to do as he pleased, laughing along when Pete pressed himself against him, happily humming along as they danced.
Vegas held Pete close, the smile never leaving his face for the rest of the night.
