   Summary

   Even with his expansive career as the Lord of Dreams, there was still nothing as enigmatic to him as the dreams of children. Out of all the millennia Dream had walked among the sleeping with surefooted confidence, he had yet to completely understand the complexity that was the subconscious mind of a child.
