Prison Blues

Summary:

The new addition to the cell block certainly would make his life more difficult than it was. And Khonshu really wasn’t happy about it.

Chapter Text

“Spector, Marc!”

The gangly kid, if he could even be called that at all, looked at Khonshu with an angry look, taking him in as if it was Khonshu that already made his life difficult. Not the kid that barely moved, assessing him.

“Got rooted to the floor?”

“No.”

Khonshu sighed and turned around, sure the kid would follow. And if not, then he wouldn’t exactly get lost in prison. They would find him sooner or later.

“First time offenders are required to report to admission after dinner. Try not to be late and you already managed better than most” Khonshu said, opening the assigned cell without a knock. It was bright daylight and, on most days, Khonshu couldn’t care less where Tevenant was, especially as it was rarely in his cell.

“And if I am late?”

The kid still looked as if he might try to pick up a fight. With that attitude Khonshu would at least not have to see him for long.

“Then you won’t like the consequences of it. Your exam will be tomorrow, you will get the time during admission.”

The kid clenched his jaw and nodded, not saying anything more, just putting his stuff on the free side of the cell.
