[SCENE START]
The Ninja are stranded on a rocky island amongst the wreckage of the ship. Everyone seems to be slightly injured, and they all stumble to their feet. Nya looks around, trying to spot Morro, while Cole and Jay help Kai to his feet. Kai’s leg is slightly sprained, and Zane’s arm is hanging at a slightly odd angle, probably dislocated. Lloyd looks to be the most injured, with both arms broken at the wrists. He also looks the most different, wearing dark green harem pants and a green sleeveless crop top. He also has silk bands stretching from the middle of the arm, to the wrist. Upon his neck, looking much like a collar was a dark gold pendant with a mint green jewel hanging in the center, encased in a ring of gold. His neck was bruised and bleeding. It was torn and bleeding with fingernail gouges running along it. All the other ninja are dressed in the clothes they had arrived in, though they are torn, burnt and ripped in a few spots. Lloyd seemed frightened, and kept looking around, as if he was waiting for someone to jump out at him.
“Lloyd!” Nya called and rushed toward him “Are you okay?” All the other ninja followed Nya, rushing toward Lloyd. They all stopped when Lloyd flinched away from them. They were surprised. “...Lloyd, what happened?” Kai said, slowly stepping toward him, “ What did Morro do to you?!”
Lloyd didn’t reply, only looking around desperately. Then he turned towards Kai, “Did you, by any chance, shatter Morro after you fought him?”
“No, we weren’t able to,” Kai started, but Lloyd interrupted him by running frantically and calling behind him “ Come on! We need to leave NOW, or Morro will shatter you all where you stand, and I can't let that happen.”
Ignoring his broken wrists and fatigue, he tried to use his magic to create bubbles around his family. “I’ll help you leave, but I don’t know how long this’ll last.” Lloyd yelled, and he tried to form his large green energy wings, but as he was about 5 feet in the air, his magic failed. The bubbles broke and his wings flicker. When his wings flickered, and he fell upon his broken wrists, crying out involuntarily.
As he tried to get up while causing minimal pain to his arms, Cole called out as he ran to Lloyd, trying to help him up “Lloyd, calm down! Just tell us what happened.”. Zane followed, and once he got to Lloyd, he put his hands on Lloyd’s broken wrists.
“Lloyd, what happened to your wrists? They are bad enough to hamper your healing!” Zane said as he vocalized his worry.
While the Ninja fretted over the emerald, only Lloyd noticed a grayish green figure pushing out of the rubble, and scampered backward. The Ninja looked towards the direction that Lloyd was looking towards. Morro was walking slowly towards Lloyd, ignoring the other ninja.
“Emerald, come here” Morro called, like Lloyd was a dog. Lloyd flinched, and began to inch backward again. Morro called again, and seeing that Lloyd wasn’t obeying, sent a large gust of wind to pick up Lloyd and bring him closer to Morro.
After Lloyd was deposited closer to Morro, he immediately scampered back. “N-n-no, I can’t do it again” He whimpered.
“How long have they kept you trapped on this miserable hunk of rock?” Morro said suavely at Lloyd, ignoring every word he’d spoken. Morro continues with fervor, “These Gems, they're traitors to their Homeworld.” With each word Morro gets closer and closer to Lloyd as if attempting to intimidate him
”They kept you prisoner. They used you, Precious. This is your chance to take revenge! Come on, just say yes” Lloyd tries to get out of Morro’s reach, manifesting his wings, even though he looks like he’s about to faint. Before he can fly away or collapse, Morro grabs his hands and forces him to stay in a single spot on the rocky landscape.
Lloyd lets out a cry as his broken wrists are jostled, and whimpers as he is forced to lay limp in Morro’s possessive grip. It’s obvious to the ninja that Lloyd is on the edge of a panic attack, and that all the bad memories of their previous fusions are resurfacing.
Nya notices Lloyd’s vigor and valor failing, and yells to him, trying to get his feelings up, but Lloyd can't hear any of the words his pseudo-sister is saying. All he can feel is the dark void and the pain of his last forced fusion. All he can hear is the rushing of wind and the buzz of energy mixing together and combining to chain him to his captor, to give away his autonomy, and the crooning voice of Morro, lulling him into a painful and broken fusion. He feels it again and again, followed by burns and stab wounds, the feeling of being deprived of sight and hearing. He felt the pain of ripping out of a fusion, of laying there exuding magic from an unhealable wound of getting up and running even though he wants to lay down and die.He remains limp, stuck in a memory. He was trapped again!
‘NO’ he thinks suddenly coming back to his senses. “I’ve escaped before, and I'll do it again.”
Even as Morro continues to try to coax Lloyd into fusing willingly, he’s lost in his mind, circling through solutions, until he lands on a feasible one. He starts to tune back in when Morro says “ If you don’t fuse, I’ll force you Precious, and as much as I want you to come back willingly, I’ll do anything to get you back.”. The other gems are confused, but shocked when he nods quickly, looking scared out of his mind. Morro starts the fusion dance, an elegant tango with Morro as the lead. While a healthy fusion dance would have equal and eager participation with both parties, their fusion dance looked painful, with Lloyd wincing at every movement, and Morro jostling him at every turn.
Kai attempts to interrupt it, to stop the fusion and save Lloyd the pain, but the wind that Morro is generating is holding him back. When Kai and all the other gems are finally able to get near the two of them, they’ve already finished their dance. They burst into bright mint green light and their fused form is revealed. A large bipedal, mint green form, with 4 arms. Each arm was holding a chain with a green dagger at the end. The weapons seem to be made out of glowing green energy and the fusion seems to always have wind blowing around it. It was adorned with light green armor and a cape blowing in the wind. The form flickered fairly often, and strangely enough, the fusion’s other form wasn’t discernible, due to how fast the fusion flickered back to its other form.
“ I did it…” the fusion says slowly, as their form stopped flickering “ I got him back.!” They begin to laugh as if high on victory and when the laughter stops, they begin to address the gems in front of them.
“So, you're the gems who kept my Emerald away from me. It’s a good thing I'm going to bring you back to Homeworld, the diamonds have really wanted him back, and I can't wait to see you punished.” The fusion continues. "Oh, I haven’t introduced myself to you yet.” they sweep into a large bow. “I am Bloodstone, the Diamond’s most trusted commander. Although you probably already knew that.”
They giggle, sounding slightly high, as they survey the other gems. They exclaim recognizing 3 of the gems, “Well, if it isn’t it the useless fluorite” They point at Jay “, the defective ruby, and the runaway lapis” They sweep their hands over Nya and Kai, “ I don’t recognize you two, but if you are with these defective gems, then you’re past saving.” He snarked to Cole and Zane and the Bloodstone smirked. “ No- matter, The Diamonds have a bounty on your head. I’ll take you back, claim the bounty, and …..well they won’t mind if one is shattered, in fact I think they’ll give me an award!” He took 3 steps toward the gems and reached out to try and hit them. However right before he can make contact with all the other ninja, His form flickers, and finally his other form is perceivable.
The Ninja stare in shock, the form they continue changing into was dressed in a light blue sweater, not unlike the kind Lloyd favored after he was released from both of his prisons. Unlike his normal clothes, this was paired with a set of shackles on both still broken wrists, showing that Morro continued to chain Lloyd to him. Lloyd’s wounds didn’t transfer to Morro as it usually would in a fusion, instead it only affected Lloyd’s form.
“NO! I am NOT going to let you hurt my friends” Lloyd says as the ninja are gaping at the form, in-control of the fusion for the first time, moving them backwards. Then a green energy hand, that looked like the chains that still adorned the other form, emerges from the sea behind them and Lloyd seems to be walking them into the hand, as if he's trying to grab the fusion. Bloodstone looks different again and Morro seems to be pushing against Lloyd's control.
“What are you doing?!” Bloodstone gasps out.
“I'm done being everyone's prisoner. Now you're my prisoner! And I'm never letting you go!”
3 more energy hands have joined the one already dragging Bloodstone back. Bloodstone is fighting against the restraints, seemingly switching between Lloyd and Morro’s control.
“You won’t hurt anyone else anymore, You won’t trap anyone else anymore!” Bloodstone screams. As the fusion is dragged back, the ninja run towards the fusion shaken out of their shock, intending on destabilizing them, only to realize that it’s too late. Bloodstone is dragged back and into the water and the last thing that the Crystal Ninja hears is Lloyd screaming “Let's stay trapped on this planet... together!”
The gems stare in shock, unable to comprehend what just happened.
Kai bursts into tears.
“I promised him I'd keep him safe, that I wouldn’t let Morro get to him. I failed him, just like the last time.” he sobbed out.
