Of course she was straight. How did Ashlyn not know that? Did she really expect Taylor, The pretty, popular, nice girl to be single forever? How stupid. God, she was a dumbass for even trying to think that. Of course there wasn't anything there. Of course Taylor loved another guy, Of course. Everything had to go wrong for her didn't it?
First, Taylor started getting closer to him. Apparently he was a childhood neighbor or something. They sat together during math, Lunch, any time they had a period together. They'd just talk, They'd talk about so much. Taylor was smiling from ear to ear the whole time. She looked so happy then, Why couldn't Ash have that? Why couldn't she make Taylor smile like that?
Then they started dating. Taylor announced it loud and proud, and all Ashlyn wanted to do was disappear, Fade away to never be seen again.
Ash could barely talk to Taylor anymore. She'd always bring him up. "Jackson's so sweet!", "Jackson would love you!", blah blah blah. It was like a jumble of words that Ashlyn couldn't tune out.
Eventually she began to have the worst 3rd wheeling experience of her life. Because guess what? Jackson was extra lovey-dovey when Ashlyn was around. He made sure Ash knew she had no chance.
Ashlyn hated it, Everything Jackson did. He even gave Taylor a fucking nickname. Ashlyn was miserable. Watching them smile made her wanna barf.
Taylor started to distance herself from the group, Spending more time with Jackson than her own brother. Tyler knew something was up, But he didn't say anything. Taylor just said "It's fine."
Ashlyn was lying on her bed, Messaging Logan about how shitty she felt, When a notification from Aiden popped up.
Dumbass 😒 : Did Taylor block you too?
ginger 👩🦰 : huh?
Dumbass 😒 : Taylor blocked me
ginger 👩🦰 : lemme check
Ashlyn closed out of Aidens messages and texted taylor.
