Summary
"I keep having this weird dream. Weirder than normal."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah," Zoey laughed, reliving a memory that had yet to come. "I'm swimming, sorta. Sometimes I drown. Sometimes I just sit there and float, surrounded by miles and miles of ocean. There's never really anywhere to go, but..." Her shoulders shrugged and she grinned. "You're always there, pulling me out, Ru."
The sky whistled, and Rumi hated the way her heart lurched at that, hated how it brought out a weak smile of her own. She hated how Zoey looked at her, like everything she said was imminent, perfectly aligned. Fitting.
It made her ill.
Still, she laughed anyway, in spite of her loathing. "Y'know I can't swim, right?"
"I know," Zoey said candidly, as if she knew everything there was to Rumi. "That's the part that makes it weird."

Summary
Three voices coming together for the first time.
Of course, there are bound to be hiccups at first. Friction. Dissonance.
Some voices shout truths, while others whisper secrets.
Through the highs and lows of scaling the notes, they strive and struggle to create their own unique balance.
...
(AKA my take on how Huntrix may have met, and many of their firsts together).

Summary
Pheromones, sweet and earthy, filtered into the air around them as they woke. It flooded Rumi’s senses, overtaking every thought and nerve in her body, instincts flaring in response to her mates. That need— that primal need— to take, claim, mate. She shot up immediately like lightning injected into her veins, back ramrod straight as she stared down at the two omegas who were curled up on either side of her, now looking up at Rumi with twin expressions of confusion and annoyance at suddenly being woken up.
“You’re both going into heat,” Rumi said plainly. Straight to the point.
It wasn’t a question, but a statement. A fact. Final.
OR
Alpha Rumi taking care of her two omega mates going into pre-heat at the same time who are refusing to acknowledge they're going into heat, and keeps digging herself into a deeper and deeper hole.
