Gentleman

Summary:

Post-reunion life is bliss, but one day while getting drinks in the Republic of Pirate, Stede overhears some rather mean-spirited comments about Ed. Stede takes it upon himself to take care of these men.

Notes:

This is a little comic I drew because I wanted to see more feral-stede content.
This comic is completed on paper, but I need to finish drawing it digitally. It's 17 panels long, and I'll be posting panels 4-5 at a time.
I'm usually more of a writer, but I've been developing my art style and thought this would be better portrayed as a comic than a fic, so I hope you enjoy it!

Panel 1: Stede and Ed sit at a table holding hands and smiling lovingly at each other. in the background stand two strange men, the taller one, one leans casually against a wall, he asks "Woah is that blackbeard?" the shorter man's arms are crossed and he frowns.

Panel 2: this panel is exactly the same, but Stede is not looking at Ed anymore, he is frowning and looking back at the men behind him. The shorter man, replying to the taller man's question in panel 1, says "Ha, hardly!"

Panel 3: we see a closeup of the two strange men, the shorter one is saying "That used to be blackbeard. Now? He's gone soft. In fact, I reckon-"

Panel 4: is a closeup on the man's pocket, he pulls out a knife as he continues speaking "-It'd only take me 5 minutes with this to make him cry like a bitch"

Panel 5: we see Stede & Ed again. Stede is getting up from his chair, his face is shadowed as he says "excuse me for one moment darling". Ed looks confused.
