Summary
"What the fuck are you doing?" Edward pressed on, some of his sense seeming to return to him. Bruce stared back at him, surprised to find anger on his face.
"You were… I'm helping," Bruce said, as if that were obvious.
"Oh, I—" surprise, followed by sudden, jeering laughter that cut off his words. Tears built up at the corners of Edward's eyes and he clenched at his stomach, curling against Bruce's knees, the ones that he'd slid under the man’s body in an attempt to help support his previously boneless frame. "I can't believe this, you're so ridiculously stupid."
Bruce's jaw dropped open as if he'd had a response to this, but nothing came out.
