When he first transferred to Yumenosaki he didn't expect THE Eichi Tenshouin was a vampire. He didn't expect him to be the same type of vampire as him as well.
Then he meets Kagehira Mika, who also was the same type of vampire like the both of them. The three of them barely interacted and kept their species a secret, many students speculated that Eichi is an angel, Mika being a crow and lastly Koga as a werewolf.
Their unit mates didn't know, assuming that they were like the speculations hence the nickname 'wanko' that Koga hates very much—making his "vampire pride" hurt.
As the years went by they still barely interacted except for Mika and Koga, always exchanging pleasantries at each other everyday, all of the three vampires went on with own of their lives. Not needing each other's blood even though they are that type of vampires that needed vampire blood unlike other vampires.
Their beings were vampire that needed vampire blood, although they could still drink human blood there will be consequences, such as allergy reactions and illness. Their ancestors claimed that human blood tasted disgusting and then the rest was history then they started to drink each other's blood bla bla bla...
They completely didn't need each other until one day...
Koga walked through the silent hallway, the sun was already setting yet he was on his way to his classroom. He forgot a few of his things that's what. Koga grumbled under his breath angrily as he marched to his classroom.
He slammed the door open and heard a squeak, it was Mika who was clearly startled at the action Koga made. Mika was obviously avoiding eye contact and Koga could hear his rapid breathing, he could also see that he was sweating—approaching him, he puts a hand on Mika's shoulder.
"Are you okay Kagehira?"
Koga's brows furrowed when he didn't get any response—about to speak, he was interrupted by Mika's words which he quite couldn't catch.
"Whaddya say?"
Mika suddenly turned at him—eyes red rather than his aqua and golden eyes, which made Koga a little shock.
"B-blood..."
Ah, Koga now understood. Mika's body probably could not function properly without a drop of blood, it was likely that Mika hadn't been fed for a decade—Koga assumed.
Koga could only nod and unbuttoned a button—only revealing his neck area and no more.
"Wha–"
"I'm offering you my blood."
Koga deadpanned while Mika was blankly staring at him, his now red eyes piercing him. Koga could only nod again when Mika threw him a "are you serious face" and tilt his head.
Not receiving any responses, Koga grew nervous and restless, about to say something—he was interrupted when Mika suddenly grabbed his shoulder roughly and sinking his fangs into his flesh. The sudden action was enough to make him flinch.
It hurt. Just a little. Honestly, Mika gripping his shoulders really hurt. He only could close his eyes and listen to the sound of his blood getting drained from him. He was quite enjoying the silence until he heard a sniff from Mika.
Koga could not believe his ears. Was Mika crying?
It was confirmed when he felt tears drop on his neck—awkwardly he pats Mika's back lightly, comforting him a little. He literally did not know how to handle this situation.
"It's okay Kagehira."
Koga pats the other while also rubbing his back comfortingly.
Mika who was finally finished drinking Koga's blood— released his fangs from Koga, quickly retracting them back while looking a little flushed. His eyes were no longer ruby red although he still had tears in his eyes, there was also a left over blood on the corner of his mouth.
"I'm sorry Oogami-kun."
Koga only looked at him and pulled out a tissue from his pocket and quickly wiping off the left over blood on his neck, after finishing he offered it to Mika who also wiped off the blood from his mouth.
Mika could only look at him shamefully.
"You really saved me there Oogami-kun. If it was other beings i would probably drop dead."
"It's fine Kagehira. You can come to me if you want some blood."
Mika stared at him as if Koga murdered somebody. Koga only ignored his stare and buttoned up—fixing his crumpled shirt and getting rid of the dust off his shirt. After that, he realized what he said may have been a little forceful.
"I mean, if you want to."
"Really!? I can drink blood from you!?"
Mika looked at him with stars at his eyes—holding such naivety that it maybe made his heart squeeze a little.
"Yes. You needn't worry about me losing blood."
"THANK YOU SO MUCH!"
Mika grabbed his hand and pulled them close to him.
"I WILL FOREVER THANK YOU FOR YOUR SACRIFICE OOGAMI-KUN!"
Koga could only smile at him as a reply.
It was ridiculous.
Someone asked Koga to have a fucking teaparty with him. It was even more ridiculous because it was EICHI. The leader of fine, if Koga was being honest he would've rejected it but NO, he was quite curious. Not only he was invited, Mika was also invited!
What could Eichi Tenshouin probably want from the both of them?
Koga suspects that it involves blood but he's not entirely sure or perhaps it's other thing's.
Koga glanced at Mika who was obviously avoiding eye contact with Eichi. Other than them being vampires, they both held a grudge towards the elder vampire, THIS was a common thing they shared together. Another thing that they shared in common was that they forgot to tell their unit leaders.
All the three of them hadn't utter a single word since they got here. It was honestly very very awkward. The only sound that could be heard was Eichi sipping his tea and the chirps of birds. Koga could feel his eye twitch and an incoming anger bubbling up inside him.
Eichi must've noticed his eye twitch because that's the only reason where he started to speak.
"I would like to have a contract with the both of you "
Eichi said—putting his teacup down with a sudden serious look in his face.
"Let me guess. It involves blood, right?"
"Yes."
Koga could only grit his teeth at the elder vampires honesty. He glanced at Mika worriedly and noticed that the other was listening properly—hearing the elder out.
"Well, since Kagehira agreed, shall we discuss this properly then?"
He had not choice but to hear him out.
"Basically, i drink Kagehira-kun's blood while you drink mine and he drinks yours. This contract will be kept in secret, no one other than the three of us."
Koga stared at Eichi doubtfully. He could not trust this mans word, he could be scheming something but alas, they needed blood. Eichi must've read his mind.
"I swear on my title i will never break this."
Eichi said as if it wasn't a big deal, resulting both of Koga and Mika's jaw drop.
The sound of the chair dragged as Koga got off of it and approached Eichi. He stood tall and intimidately but Eichi wasn't even an ounce of intimidated. Koga could only swipe of the others polite smirk by grabbing his hand suddenly and grating his fangs on the pale wrist—ready to bite.
Koga's eyes were no longer the beautiful gold, instead, it's replaced by a bloody red color.
Eichi couldn't help but smirk, knowing that he won.
"The contract has been set in stone."
