Summary
Despite Nidhogg's disappearance, a millennia prior, the Dragonsong War rages on. Is he still puppeteering his horde, behind the scenes, or is there something more?
Enter Lord Commander Aymeric de Borel - an unlikely choice of leadership, in Ishgard's eyes. When his fate crosses paths with a mysterious creature, neither man nor wyrm, all he can do is listen to the forgotten song of the beast.
It just so happens that the beast wears the skin of a dragoon of eld.
