“It’s like an errand list.” Kaeya sighed. “I fear she’s going to keep doing this until she’s used you all up, Prince.”
“It will be difficult to do with a task I’ve already proven to be so fond of.” His desk was messy and his bed perfectly unused. He’d been testing the limits of his homunculus nature, now that he was aware it existed. He found he had to sleep a lot less than he thought. He required less food, though he still ate just as often because he enjoyed it. Though now his small appetite made more sense.
“And yet, you seem…” Kaeya tilted his head, observing Albedo’s face, gaze dropping to his shoulders, then his chest, all the way down to his boots, as if he was cataloging this version of Albedo to be compared against later. “You seem thinner, somehow, like you’re disappearing in there.”
