“The name is Boris, by the way,” Boris grinned, taking one of the cigarettes out of the pack. “And you are?”
“Will,” he replied. Boris nodded his head, placing the cigarette in between Will’s lips.
Will froze. He wasn’t expecting that. And he certainly wasn’t expecting Boris to be looking at him so intimately, his dark eyes scanning over. Perhaps he was just being friendly to someone in need.
“Will. Short for William, no?” Boris looks down at his lips and then back up. Will felt like his soul was being stared into, his cheeks beginning to burn up.
“Yeah but,” Will mumbled around the cigarette in his mouth, watching Boris pull out a lighter from his pocket. “No one calls me William. It’s a stupid name.”
Boris lit Will’s cigarette. “What? I think William is a beautiful name.”
