Summary
Jinx uses her free hand to grab the flask out of the hand Ekko's gripping and takes a satisfying gulp. A noise of disapproval comes from Ekko as liquor burns her throat, and Jinx bats her eyes innocently.
"I'll talk to Talis. Fine. But on one condition: you have to fuck me."
And just like that, Ekko's face is "impassive" once more. Jinx considered how brash and stupid her request was. Considered. But she needs something to brag about to Lux, who regarded her with shiny puppy-dog eyes when she nonchalantly mentioned she'd been celibate for around eleven months. Like they were mutually bitchless or something. Ugh.
Then a smile pulls at Ekko's lips, the barest of chuckles emanating from his mouth before he looks at her appraisingly. "You know, for someone so unpredictable, you're plenty predictable."
Jinx's sister's wedding is probably the worst major event of her life in recent memory, but at least she'll always have bourbon. And Ekko, who you can always count on to make things worse. If only he weren't so sexy while doing it.
