Chapter Text
Peter's POV
I looked over to his bed, he was still knocked out. I scanned the area, and with the coast clear, I swung out the window. My early-morning patrol was never my favorite time of day anyways. I always had to make sure Harry never saw me, and nothing normally crazy happens at 7:55 in the morning.
It wasn't worthless to go on patrol this early, but doing patrol means every 4 hours I'm on the lookout unless I'm already outside or I immediately see trouble. Even when not on my actual patrol, I'm always making sure to keep an ear out. Besides, it's not like there are any villains to deal with anymore. Villains were so last year.
At this point, it had already been 40 minutes of pure silence, so I go back inside through the window, just because I saw Harry still asleep. Bored, I turned on the T.V to watch the news. I always liked to have it on in the background, in case of anything I've missed.
I made sure to keep it low, while sleeping-beauty over there, finishes his slumber. I snuck over to the kitchen where I quickly grabbed myself some cereal and dived back into bed.
Not long later, my roomie woke up. "About time, sleepy. Good morning." I smile and greet him. "Mhhhh. What time's it, Pete..?" He asked groggily. "It's 10," I said munching on my cereal.
"Let me sleep in longer.." He groaned. I slightly rolled my eyes afterward. "Harry, It's a beautiful Summer day, and it's Saturday," I told him. "It's gonna rain later.." He said stretching and scrolling on his phone.
"Well later isn't now. Come on, we can go do something." I smiled at him. "Pete, I'm tired. I had an unexpected oscorp meeting at like 1 in the morning. That ended up lasting two hours! Let me sleep." "Sorry, Har, I didn't know. You don't deserve to be called to unexpected meetings because of that."
"It's for my dad's corporation, Pete. I wouldn't have to go to it weren't for Spider-Man not saving my dad." I tried holding my grudge anytime he said that.
"I'll kill hate that son of a bitch-. You know, next time he thinks of not saving someone who's out of control-" He stresses. "Harry, calm down," I say, taking a seat next to him, on his bed.
"I thought Spidey was a good guy. Looks like he wanted to prove me wrong last second. What a shame. Could've been my new favorite celebrity. But..he just wanted to take it too far."
