It was a typical summer day.
Gojo was enjoying his well-earned lunch in the school’s communal kitchen – consisting of only sweets. He carefully sorted the treats from the worst to the best on the table. He then took off his blindfold and outer jacket since it was so hot. He didn’t want his clothes to get dirty while he enjoyed himself. His mouth was salivating from the intense wafting smell of the treats.
Just as Gojo was about to take his first bite, Yuuji barged into the kitchen.
“Gojo-sensei!” Yuuji greeted cheerfully. He was carrying something in his arms.
So blue... Yuuji thought. Yuuji’s cheeks redden as he realized that his sensei has his blindfold off. His mind was grounded again when Gojo-sensei called his name.
“Yuuji-chan!” Gojo greeted. “What is that?” He pointed to the bundle in his student’s arms.
“This is Fuwa Go and Fuwa Yuu.” Yuuji smiled brightly. The two dog-sized plushies waved their hands. The two plushies looked similar to Yuuji and Gojo himself – except that they had large oval felt eyes and stubby arms. “I found them during my last mission with Nanamin! ”
“Did they tell you their name or what?” Gojo laughed while biting into the first treat, a huge daifuku with red bean paste and a plump strawberry inside.
“I don’t really understand their language except for their tone of voice. But they look like us! So, I'm calling them Fuwa Go and Fuwa Yuu.” Yuuji cuddled the two toys.
“Fuwa~ (I love you Yuuji~)” The Gojo-looking plushie let out a happy sigh. Fuwa Yuu also seemed happy with the Jujutsu High student’s physical displays of affection.
“Yuuji-chan, it’s cute that you want to take in Fuwa Go and Fuwa Yuu. But you have to be careful. My eyes can tell they have cursed energy.” Gojo got up from his chair and placed his arms on his student’s shoulder to give Yuuji a hug.
“Fuwa Fuwa! (Yuuji is mine!)” Fuwa Go let out a grumble as both Fuwa Go and Fuwa Yuu were squished between teacher and student. The plushie was pissed that his chosen person was being hugged.
“Gojo-sensei, it looks like Fuwa Go doesn’t like hugs.” Yuuji let out a pleasant laugh.
Gojo-sensei glared at the small plushie as Yuuji pushed away Gojo. Fuwa Go smirked and used his tiny fingers to flip off the human Gojo.
“Fuwa~ (Please don’t fight.)” Fuwa Yuu tried to deescalate by waving his arms.
“Can I please keep Fuwa Go and Fuwa Yuu, Gojo-sensei? I promise I’ll take care of them.” Yuuji gave his best puppy eyes to his favorite sensei.
“Fine. But you have to feed and take care of them.” Gojo sighed. He could never say no to his favorite student.
That was the start of the Fuwas staying at the Jujutsu High school - as well as the start of Gojo and Yuuji’s romantic relationship.
