Summary
The Panopticon collapses to bury both the dead and the despairing beneath tons of rubble. The world unwinds into spooling tape, its architects dragged out into the gaping beyond.

Somewhere else, however, does not turn out to be the bittersweet second chance that Jon and Martin had desperately hoped for. They end up stranded in a ghost town, left to frantically solve the problem of what to do when there are no other people to keep Jon fed.
