Jiraiya might not object to sharing his blanket with his younger teammate, even if he was puzzled to have him positioned with his back pressing against Jiraiya’s rear end.
Apparently, Orochimaru had hurt his back doing something Jiraiya would rather not picture him doing, and so found the warmth soothing.
The serpent opened one slitted eye to glare back at him when he sensed he was being watched. “If you even think about passing wind, I’ll feed you to Manda.”
The threat of ending up in the summon’s stomach kept him from defending himself, even if he found the accusation to be unfair. As if he would ever do that.
Jiraiya was about to doze off when a small poofing sound on the way to his eardrums made a stop at his nostrils.
He almost gagged, turning his head towards snake boy, intent on chewing him out and then taking note that the offender was still asleep and hadn’t done so on purpose.
Gritting his teeth while covering his nose with a thumb and index finger, and made to get up only for the sleeping teen to turn around and wrap his arms around one of Jiraiya’s legs, effectively holding the thigh hostage.
As if it was just to annoy him even further, Orochimaru dropped another stink bomb.
What was he, a skunk in a previous life?
Since Jiraiya couldn’t make the Skunk let go of his leg, and he was on the verge of throwing up, he resigned to his fate and stuffed his earplugs up his nose.
He didn’t like the smell of earwax, but it was still better than suffering through an Orochimaru Fart.
