    It’s not until the shine of headlights burns through his eyelids that Eddie realizes he fell back asleep.
    Steve had called him about 7:30ish asking to come over after work. This wasn’t a surprise considering they have been hanging out almost every day since Eddie got out of the hospital. Steve said he wanted to “monitor his injuries.” But over a year had passed and Eddie was fully healed (at least physically). Eddie didn’t mind though, he got to spend time with King Steve “The Hair” Harrington.
    Eddie jumped out of bed and walked toward the door, almost startled by how excited he was to see Stevie.
    Eddie knew Steve got off work at 10:00 and no one else would be driving through the trailer park at this time of night.
    He opened the door and felt the cool August air hit his chest.
