Summary
Kim had known that taking the role, with its three weeks of enforced time together with Chay, all the way out in Pattaya, was a risky move. He knew Chay hadn’t responded to any of Kim’s attempts to reach out to him, knew that probably meant Chay didn’t want to talk to him. He wasn’t - he knew. He did. But if there was even the slightest chance that Chay might forgive him… perhaps it was hopeless, but Kim couldn’t help feeling that if he could only talk to Chay, just for a moment, really talk to him, then perhaps he could make him see how sorry Kim was, how much he truly cared for Chay. Kim knew himself. He knew he had to try.
