Summary
Waterloo, 1815. Years after getting promoted from sergeant to ensign in India, Lieutenant Colonel Dean Winchester is shot on the battlefield.
When he wakes up, he finds himself in Heaven. At least he thinks so, until he learns that a retired navy commander provided him with accommodation and care. And it is not any retired navy commander.
Commander Castiel has been in mourning for a long time. It’s been almost ten years since he lost the love of his life at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. Ten long years since Ensign Winchester went overboard.
