   Summary

   The servant was glad to be treated so well by the delightful personnage of Fix, he had listened to Passepartout's every whim and need, pouring him a glass of pale ale or whiskey occasionally, this whole week of meeting up with this accomodating man had charmed him. The Englishman gave him comfort somewhat, his bewitching complacent smile was something Passepartout had seen in most polite English society but Fix was different.

   Passepartout felt awfully pleased by this mysterious man's attention.
