I woke up in the morning and I felt so well rested and refreshed when I realized I had slept through my alarm and I missed the bus that would get me close to my campus and get to class right on time. And the next bus won’t be there before my exam so I had to run to campus to maybe make it on time. So I grab my clothes and pray to god that there is water left in my water bottle and I run out of my apartment and start my morning run to campus.
It was pouring rain, and the complete run to campus was horrid. It felt as though the chilly rain soaked into his bones and froze them. The only thing I could think was how much I didn’t want to have a day full of classes and how I don’t want to go to that stupid exam at stupid o’clock in the morning.
But when I thought about these things I felt like some little kid not wanting to go to school because of some little test. Once I got to campus I was covered in water, it looked like the sky tried to drown me. That was when I stumbled upon Leo who was also soaked and he looked over at me, his curly hair having gone limp from the rain and he smiled.
“Well, now I know I must look worse than that. Are you taking the math midterm? Didn’t know you needed that for an English degree.” I rolled my eyes and responded.
“Yes, I am. Also, that was premuchius of you to go on after you asked.” Leo laughed at me saying something that might be “Oh, Nico.” but I couldn’t really tell since he was laughing so hard. I roll my eyes again and he laughs even more, but I felt better about today.
We go in and do it and leave at the same time with the same expression on our faces that we both are not passing it.
“Want to get your boyfriend and I get mine and see the avenger movie?” Leo asks and Nico nods. They both contact them and set it up and they go to their own apartments and meet up at the movie theater. It was a good time and made at least my own day better though I will never tell Leo that he would get all cocky about it.
