Summary
So, he’s doing a lot of thinking. And maybe a lot of shoving thoughts into mental boxes with the promise to unpack them later but with the intention of never touching them again, if he can help it.
Ideally, he’d like to just fall asleep. But that’s too much to ask, apparently.
At least it means he’s already awake when Dakota starts nudging him, though.
“Will.” He’s whispering, but he’s still loud in the silence of the night. “Hey, William.”
“Yeah?”
Dakota shifts, sitting up.
“Can I talk to you?”
