Chapter Text
Tim was almost falling asleep reading the mortgage fraud cases. Taking a big gulp of coffee, he nearly flew out of his seat when his Bat-phone starting ringing like crazy. Emergency alarm.
Whipping out his phone, Tim input his Justice League Database’s code.
“Hello? Neal Caffrey here. I repeat, this is Neal Caffrey to the BC.” Tim reported, packing up his stuff despite his colleagues questions.
“RR, this is a code red. Oracle here. All hands on deck. Darkside has returned, I repeat Darkside had returned. Do you have your suit?”
“Not right now, no. It’s at my apartment O. I’ll be there in five minutes.” Tim replied, easily dodging Peter’s futile attempts to take his phone. He could already hear screaming from below.
“Perfect. Take the Zeta from New York to Gotham, directly into the Batcave.” Tim opened his laptop, hacking into his anklet monitor in a record of thirty-seven seconds.
“Neal, if you don’t put your anklet back on, I’ll have to send you back to jail.” Even Peter couldn’t hide his surprise at the sheer speed the young adult had hacked his anklet.
Snapping it off he looked up to see a gun trained onto him. He sighed, grabbing his full bag and leaping over his desk, throwing his anklet at Peter’s face.
“O, delete all information on Neal Caffrey. Burn it.” Tim listened as Barbara clicked on the keys at lightning speed.
“Done.”
“Give me ten. See you soon.” Tim looked straight into Peter’s eye.
“We’ll probably never meet ever again. Bye.”
“Neal! Come back here!”
Tim sped down the stair five at a time, barely breaking a sweat. He ran back to his apartment, grabbed his suit and ran back into the nearest phone booth, barely dodging a parademon.
“Red Robin, Batcave.”
Tim stepped into the phone booth decked out in full Red Robin gear, cutting the very last strings that connected him to Neal Caffrey.
