all link wanted was to keep a low profile and stay in the hylian army, fighting monsters whenever he pleased. but the goddesses seem to have one twist of fate after another planned for him as he rose through the ranks against his will to become princess zelda's personal knight. no one can know about the past he left behind. no one can know about the cloth he wraps tight around his chest. and link doesn't know what will happen if someone finds out.

“Zelda?” he repeated. “What is it?” This was something bad, this was something terrible. But why had Impa only addressed the letter to him? Was it something she didn’t want Zelda to know?
“Link, I…” Zelda looked at the letter again. Her eyes flashed with utter fury. “There is- something’s happened. A family has arrived in Kakariko, from Lurelin. They asked Impa for your whereabouts.”
“Oh,” Link said. “Is that all? Do they need help?”
Zelda took a deep breath and put the letter down. She took Link’s hands.
“Link, darling,” she said, much softer now, as if trying not to spook him. “Their matriarch claims to be Aryll.”

One hundred years ago, unknown to everyone, Aryll survived the Calamity. Unknown to her, Link was brought back from the dead.
Now, with Ganon gone and news of Link and Zelda's survival spreading through Hyrule, Aryll goes in search of her big brother alongside her family. But how to prove herself? How to confirm that she's exactly who she says she is?

Summary
Wild did not speak, though he did make sounds every so often. As in, infrequently, often. A hum on this tone, a sound in that pitch, but far enough apart that it was almost always easy to miss.
When Sky led the group to the Earth Spring out of collective curiosity, Wild seemed to find it in himself to make sounds of interest or curiosity with noticeable tandem. Then, he found the Goddess Statue.
The draw of a blade had never before sung so literally.

Wind has an inkling as to what was going on, but no idea how to go about fixing it.
The only thing he’s really figured out is that Wild seemed to be unhappy on girl days. Wind thinks it’s because of how dirty they all were. Though he couldn’t speak for Wild, he noticed that Aryll would always put a little more effort into her outfits as she got a little older so she could “feel pretty.”
Maybe that’s what Wild wants… what Wild needs.
