You don't mind animals.
You might even say you're fond of them. They're cute, non-judgemental and tend to be pretty smart. Every trait that you can't readily find in the people around you. So it was no real surprise that you adopted a couple of companions into your life to spend your time with outside of work, even if that wasn't your intention at first.
