Ed laid stretched out on the couch. He was excited he finally got to relax after a long day. As he laid there he thought of what he wanted to actually do with his time, but he drew a blank. After a couple minutes of thinking about nothing a thought popped in his mind. He should watch a scary movie. He decided to text Stede to see if he wanted to join him and after a couple minutes he was on Ed’s doorstep.
“Hello darling,” Stede says as he walks in with a blanket and bag. Ed chuckles and hugs Stede. The first thing he notices is the blanket, how big and fuzzy it is. “I thought you’d like it. I also got us some movie snacks too!”
“Thanks love,” Ed says as he takes the bag to see what’s inside, his eyes lighting up. Inside the bag are some M&M’s, popcorn, Twizzlers, and Pocky. He kissed Stede and brought him over to the couch. “I’ve been looking forward to this.”
“So have I! The Idea sounded so lovely when you mentioned it,” Ed practically swoons at Stede’s words. They decided on a movie and got comfortable under the blanket, holding hands as they watched the movie. They cuddled and ate their snacks. Eventually one movie turned into another one turned into five. Ed had lost track of time. When he noticed the time he went to get up but noticed Stede had fallen asleep. He moved them to the lying potion without disturbing the other man too much. He had fallen asleep that night feeling safe and at home.
