Summary:
That one insufferable coworker? The one who always gets way too closely into your space and who has this OBNOXIOUS habit of giving out the uninvited, "friendly" shoulder rubs? Yeah, he knows a little thing or two about your revolutionist side hustle - as well as your PTSD.
Notes:
Wanted to do something with my headcanon of poor Botta and choking/asphyxiation trauma again. Thought it would be "fun" in a modern setting where he holds a day job or something while working on the downfall of Cruxis, who run anything like the government or the cops or the mob or the mob AND the cops or the church or really anything with too much authority over people's lives. The HOA. OMFG. Imagine if it was the HOA, how dark and absolutely hilarious in the most unhinged, evil way this scenario here would be, OMFG, "I know you rats painted the fence intentionally in a red two shades off, Jody was fuming", OMFG.
I desperately need sleep.
Anyway. Botta. Trauma. PTSD. Weirdos just veeery gently and very accidentally brushing over his neck while going over their "normal" invasive (but generally shrugged-off, as it is often the case) office behaviour, just to inform him that they're Onto Him and that he isn't safe anywhere he goes - and neither is his unrestricted access to oxygen.
Just scary and very very "shake and shiver" inducing.
